Concurrently with the pressing step, a fluid present between the green tyre and the holding walls is evacuated through vent valves. The tyre is brought into contact with the closing head of each valve so as to push it toward a closed position of the valve itself. The closing head has a distal portion facing the moulding cavity and includes at least one grip element for the tyre blend, so that the closure member is pulled toward the open position while the moulded and cured tyre is moved away from the inner surface of said moulding cavity.02-02-2012

The oscillating structure includes a housing and a piezoelectric element coupled to the housing. The piezoelectric element is able to oscillate in an oscillation direction, which could match either a longitudinal or a radial direction of the tyre. An electrical signal generated by the piezoelectric element is processed so as to determine at least one operating parameter of the tyre. The processing includes determining whether a rotation speed of the tyre is greater than a threshold speed; and, in the negative, extracting information for determining the at least one operating parameter of the tyre from a low-pass filtered signal. Such low-pass filtered signal is obtained by removing at least frequency components of the electrical signal having a frequency higher than or equal to a resonance peak frequency of the oscillating structure.05-27-2010

The step of coating the bead core includes the steps of winding the reinforcement tape onto the bead core moving a tape deposition member with respect to the bead core. The step of manufacturing the annular anchoring structure further includes a step of loading the reinforcement tape onto the tape deposition member.
