20120087204TRANSDUCER ARRAY IMAGING SYSTEM - The embodiments contemplate methods and devices for communicating an acoustic emission via an array of transducers and wirelessly communicating data via a transceiver. The transceiver may be in communication with the array of transducers. The embodiments also contemplate providing power for the acoustic emission via a power source and processing the data at a relatively remote location with respect to the power source. In addition, the embodiments contemplate providing an indication at a relatively remote location with respect to the power source. The indication may provide, at least in part, numerical information regarding the acoustic emission.04-12-2012
20120085174Transducer Array Imaging System - The embodiments contemplate methods and devices for communicating an acoustic emission via an array of transducers and wirelessly communicating data via a transceiver, where the transceiver may be in communication with the array of transducers. Embodiments also contemplate providing power for the acoustic emission via a power source and providing information regarding a temperature sensor to the transceiver. The wirelessly communicated data may include the information regarding the temperature sensor. Embodiments also contemplate processing the wirelessly communicated data at a relatively remote location with respect to both the power source and the temperature sensor.04-12-2012
20100286527ULTRASOUND SYSTEM WITH MULTI-HEAD WIRELESS PROBE - An ultrasound system and method is described in which a probe is used in conjunction with a main unit. The probe contains at least two different transducer or transducer array types to provide an operator with a selection of transducer types for use without having to change to a different probe. Transducer types may include wide-band and narrow band transducers or transducer arrays within a single probe, and may be selected for use by a selector switch on the probe. Data collected by the probe during operation may be transmitted wirelessly back to a main unit through the use of a wireless antenna incorporated into the probe. In addition, one of the transducers at either end of the probe may be replaced by an adjunct equipment type such as a stethoscope.11-11-2010
