20110031359 | WINDING TRIPOD - The present invention discloses a winding tripod, which includes a cradle head and three legs. Each of the legs is connected at one end with the cradle head via a universal joint, and used at the other end for supporting. At least one of the legs therein includes multiple first movable joints and multiple second movable joints, which are connected together alternately and hinged via a locking coupling device. The first and the second movable joints are provided with a hoverball hole. Between the first and the second movable joints are positioned a spring and a hoverball. The hoverball is clipped into the hoverball hole when the first and the second movable joints are pivotally turned to a predetermined angle. The winding tripod of the present invention can overcome shortcomings of the prior art technology; a universal joint structure without a security function is improved to become the three dimensional structure with the security function, which thus enables the windable leg to be wound firmly around any surface and winding and unwinding of the leg to be more flexible. | 02-10-2011 |
