|PORTABLE MESSAGE DEVICE - A portable message device includes a base having at least one wheel providing portability for the portable message device, and a base access panel which in an open position provides access to an internal base cavity. A communication feature includes a message portion providing a predetermined message saved in a memory. A sensor provides indication of the proximity of a person to the portable message device. A processor is connected to the sensor and the memory. The processor actuates the communication feature upon sensing the proximity of the person. A power source positioned substantially within the internal base cavity provides electrical power to operate the communication feature and the sensor, the power source being accessible by opening the base access panel.||08-28-2014

A handle is rotatably connected to the support tube and rotatably linked to the sliding member such that rotation of the handle slidably displaces the sliding member with respect to the support tube. A bracket assembly is fixed to the support tube. At least one scissoring assembly including first and second scissoring links is rotatably connected together by a rotational fastener. The first scissoring link is rotatably connected to the bracket assembly and separately to a corner brace member. The second scissoring link is rotatably connected to the sliding member and separately to the corner brace member. Handle rotation moves the sliding member toward the bracket assembly moving the corner brace member from a stowed condition proximate the support tube away from the support tube to a deployed condition.||08-16-2012|
|ADAPTER FOR HITCH MOUNTED SIGN - A sign mounting adapter system includes a hitch extension tube. A sign orientation post connected and oriented perpendicular to the hitch extension tube has a longitudinal axis. A sign support post is axially and rotatably received on the sign orientation post. The sign support post has a longitudinal axis co-axially aligned with the sign orientation post longitudinal axis, and a receiving bore perpendicular to the sign support post longitudinal axis. Multiple orientation bores extend through the sign orientation post, each oriented at a first angle to proximate orientation bores and perpendicular to the orientation post longitudinal axis. A retention assembly is releasably and co-axially received in the receiving bore and one of the orientation bores. The retention assembly releasably connects the sign support post to the sign orientation post to permit selection of a sign support post axial angle of rotation to the sign orientation post.||08-16-2012
|RAILWAY SERVICE VEHICLE HAVING WHEELCHAIR RESTRAINT - A railway service vehicle for transporting material into or wheelchair-bound or injured persons away from train accident sites or tunnels includes a body having a platform. Wheels rotatably connected to the body support the body on first and second rails of a railroad track system for non-self propelled movement of the body. At least one mounting device is connected to the platform. A hold-down member releasably connected to the mounting device restrains a wheelchair supported by the platform. A storage/tool container is supported by the platform. At least one passenger seat is connected to the storage/tool container. Opposed first and second containment members are connected to the platform outboard of the mounting device.||05-26-2011
|GRAB BAR SIGN MOUNT - A system for mounting a sign to a vehicle includes a bar connected to the vehicle. A clamp assembly includes first and second jaw members adapted to frictionally engage the bar between the first and second jaw members. At least one structural member supports the first and second jaw members. A sign assembly includes a support frame having the at least one structural member connected to the support frame. A frame member is slidably received by and releasably engaged to the support frame. A sign connected to the frame member is adapted to be positioned in each of a stowed and a deployed position.||08-12-2010
|Universally Mountable Bollard Bracket - A bracket for attaching an advertising unit to a support structure includes a metal plate having multiple cavities. A first bite member extends into a first cavity and is oriented to engage the support structure in a first bracket orientation when the support structure is received in the first cavity. A second bite member extends into a second cavity and is oriented parallel to the first bite member. The second bite member engages the support structure in the first bracket orientation when the support structure is also received in the second cavity. A third bite member extends into a third cavity and is oriented to engage the support structure in a second bracket orientation. A fourth bite member extends into the third cavity and is oriented parallel to and oppositely facing the third bite member. The third and fourth bite members engage the support structure in the second bracket orientation.||09-17-2009
|Sliding Member Bollard Bracket - A hanging clip system includes a clip having a head portion having first and second legs extending from the head portion. Each of the first and second legs includes an outwardly extending flange having a convexly curved upper surface and a flat surface facing away from the head portion. A gap between the first and second legs defines an angle created during a molding process so that the first and second legs can be elastically deflected toward each other to provide a biased condition of the legs. A frame member includes opposed inwardly curving arms which define a cavity adapted to receive the flanges of the clip and inner opposed walls which define a channel adapted to receive the legs.||05-07-2009
