20140120799 | INTERACTIVE PUZZLE BOOK ASSEMBLY - An interactive book assembly has first and second page portions, and a plurality of uniquely-shaped workpieces. The first page portion removably retains the workpieces in a plurality of first receiving areas. The second page portion has a plurality of second receiving areas that have unique shapes that each match a respective one of the workpieces so as to receive and retain a mating. Each second receiving area has a switch area located to correspond to the position of an indicia area of the mating workpiece when the mating workpiece is positioned in the respective second receiving area. Membrane switches are positioned adjacent to a switch area of each second receiving area to align with the indicia area of the workpiece inserted into the matching second receiving area. When a reader presses the activation indicium on the workpiece, the workpiece will press against the switch area, causing activation of the associated membrane switch and generation of a sound relating to the workpiece. | 05-01-2014 |
20140120504 | BOOK ASSEMBLY WITH SLIDER-ACTIVATED SWITCH - A book assembly with a track, a slider, and a switch. The slider is visible and can be slid along the track by a user such as a child. The switch is activated by moving the slider in the track. Activating the switch plays a sound or lights a light. | 05-01-2014 |
20140117656 | CHANGEABLE BOOK SYSTEM - A changeable book system including a book chassis configured to receive a plurality of books. The book chassis includes one or more membrane switches aligned with identifier indicia located on one or more pages of a book when the book is positioned adjacent to the book chassis. A reader may activate one or more membrane switches by pressing the corresponding identifier indicia. Activation of a membrane switch causes the book chassis to perform a function and/or produce a sound. | 05-01-2014 |
20130099547 | Automatic deployable, foldable furniture system - Auto-deployable furniture having a top panel and a collapsible base movable between collapsed and deployed positions. The base has opposing side panels spaced apart when in the deployed position and are adjacent to each other when in the collapsed position. A top brace spans between the opposing sidewalls and is fixed to the top panel at an off-center portion. Movement of the base between the deployed and collapsed positions causes the top brace to automatically fold or unfold at the intermediate portion, thereby automatically pivoting the top panel relative to the base. In the deployed position, the top panel is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the base, and in the flat, collapsed position, the top panel is parallel to the longitudinal axis. | 04-25-2013 |
