20160129684 | METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SETTING INK-CONDUCTING ROTATIONAL BODIES OF A PRINTING PRESS - Rotational bodies of a printing press with at least a first, a second and a third ink-conducting rotational body, which interact with each other in pairs, can be set in a thrown-on position. The second of the at least three rotational bodies can be set both against the first of the three rotational bodies and against the third of the three rotational bodies in order to form a two-sided thrown-on position. Tracking, coupled in a defined way, of the rotational axis of the second rotational body takes place at the same time as a radial positional change of the rotational axis of the first rotational body, by the superimposition of two movements along two non-congruent movement paths which run in a plane which is perpendicular with respect to the rotational axis. A device for setting rotational bodies of a printing press is also provided. | 05-12-2016 |
20090243193 | Device for feeding sheets - A device is provided for feeding sheets of a sheet stack pressing against front edge stops to a printing cylinder using transport suction devices, which engage a particular uppermost sheet in the area of the sheet rear edge and bring it in a conveyance direction, sheet transport means and sheet acceleration means downstream therefrom being provided between the front edge stops and the printing cylinder. The object of the invention is to provide a device for feeding sheets which occupies little installation space, maybe implemented using simple means, and does not disadvantageously influence the productivity of the machine which processes sheets. The object is achieved according to the invention in that the sheet acceleration means ( | 10-01-2009 |
20090108515 | Method for controlling the feed of sheets to a sheet-fed printing press - A method for controlling the feed of sheets to a sheet-fed printing press is provided for a sheet feeder unit comprising an individual drive assigned to each of a plurality of components provided for supplying the sheets in a stack, separating the sheets from a stack and supplying the sheets to the press. The method provides a means by which at least two of the individual drives are brought to a standstill in a defined position in a targeted manner by shutting down the feeder unit. The individual drives are operated in synchronization with one another during printing operation. The synchronization between the at least two individual drives is canceled when the sheet feeder unit is shut down. These drives are shut down individually and synchronized with one another when the sheet feeder unit is started up again such that in shutdown, each individual drive assumes a predefinable position. | 04-30-2009 |
