CONTAINER COMMUNICATION MODULE - Systems and method for safely distributing software for electronic controllers in the refrigeration container industry, and also communication systems primarily for electronic controllers related to refrigeration containers in which fast software distribution in container controllers is achieved by introducing a buffer memory in the communication system, which buffer memory includes a new container controller software version. The communication system distributes the new container controller software version by a communication device, to receiving communication systems where the new software version is placed in the buffer memory. As a result, it can be achieved that software distribution starts automatically as soon as only one communication system includes the new software version, this software version will in a very short period be spread into all container controllers, e.g., on board a ship or in a container yard. | 10-27-2011
COMPRESSOR AND REFRIGERATING MACHINE - A compressor and a refrigerating machine which enable an easy disposal of a lubricant, are friendly to the natural environment, and have simple configurations, are provided. | 07-21-2011
CONDENSER AND COOLING DEVICE - In the condenser provided with two of the degassing chambers separated by a cooling fluid, communication between the degassing chambers is prevented even if a pressure difference is increased between the degassing chambers. The condenser has the housing having the vapor inflow port connectable to the discharge portion of the compressor, the first degassing chamber, in the housing, communicating with the vapor inflow port, and the second degassing chamber, in the housing, arranged above the first degassing chamber across the partition portion, and the passing portion for permitting a cooling fluid to flow from the second degassing chamber to the first degassing chamber, wherein the first degassing chamber is separated from the second degassing chamber by the cooling fluid in the passing portion, and the passing portion has a pressure head space for containing a specified volume of cooling fluid so as to absorb a variation in a pressure difference between the first degassing chamber and the second degassing chamber. | 11-25-2010
Screw Compressor - The present invention relates to a screw compressor and a method for operating the compressor primarily for gaseous refrigerants, comprising a compressor housing, which comprises a male and a female screw rotor arranged in screw rotor bores in the compressor housing, which male and female rotor are co-rotatingly drivable and interacting for compressing the refrigerant, which screw compressor comprises at least one slider, which slider is movable in relation to the male and the female rotor, where movement of the slider controls the internal volume ratio of the screw compressor, which slider is moveable in a slider housing, which slider is in a direction sideways to the plane formed by the rotational axes of the male and the female rotor, which slider is interacting with the male and the female rotor. | 12-11-2008
Systems and Methods for Power Line Communication with Refrigeration Containers - The present invention relates to systems and methods for power line communication primarily with refrigeration containers, where the communication to and from the containers is performed as modulated signals transmitted over the power line. It is the object of the invention to achieve effective communication to and from containers without risk of disturbance of the communication when a high number of containers are connected to the same power grid. This can be achieved if the systems comprise at least one module for power line communication, which module comprises means for transmitting the modulated signal to and from the power grid, which means comprises at least one magnetic core, which surrounds the power lines, which magnetic core comprises a secondary winding, which is connected to the power line communication system. It can hereby be achieved that there is no direct electrical connection to the power lines where these power lines pass through the communication module, hi this way, a total galvanic isolation towards the power lines will exist, and as such this will protect the module against a great part of the impairment that might exist on the power grid lines. This impairment could be high voltage sparks that otherwise could destroy or at least disturb the electronic circuit, hi the module, the use of safety circuits is as such partly avoided which safety circuits typically are used for short cutting high voltage sparks which are typically occurring over the grid where this high voltage is generated by in and out-coupling transformers. | 11-27-2008
Cooling System with Integrated Condenser and Expansion Valve - The present invention concerns a cooling system with an integrated condenser, the cooling system containing at least one compressor which via a pressure outlet may conduct a first coolant through a line to at least one condenser, from where the first coolant flows through at least one expansion valve to at least one evaporator, from where the first coolant is sucked back to the compressor via the suction line of the compressor, where the condenser and the evaporator may both be constructed as closed containers, the containers each containing at least one heat exchanger, where a second coolant flows through the heat exchanger of the evaporator, and where a cooling medium flows through the heat exchanger of the condenser, the cooling medium exchanging heat with the surroundings. It is the object of the invention to indicate an efficient and compact cooling system that forms an assembled unit containing all cooling functions in order to interact with a cooling installation. The container containing the heat exchanger of the condenser may also contain means for oil separation, and the container may interact with an expansion valve. Hereby may be achieved that largely all cooling functions occurring at the same pressure level are integrated in a common pressure vessel. This may be enabled by two different pressure vessels, so that a vessel having about the pressure level existing on the pressure outlet of the compressor includes condensing, oil separation and expansion valve as well. On the evaporator side where the pressure in the container is about equal to the suction pressure of the compressor, there may thus occur integration of an efficient flooded evaporator and a liquid separator. | 11-20-2008
Oil Management System - Method and a system for oil management where a common pressure shield contains all oil management functions for treatment of the mixture of oil and refrigerant leaving the compressor, and returning the oil to the compressor. The pressure shield may comprise at least the following components related to oil management; an oil separator from which oil is flowing to an oil sump, an oil cooler connected to the oil sump, a mixing valve in which the oil from the oil cooler is mixed with oil from the oil sump for achieving an optimised oil temperature, an oil filter for filtering the mixed oil, the mixed oil being returned from the oil filter to the compressor, and where at least the mentioned components can operate at a pressure level substantially equivalent to the discharge pressure at the compressor. | 11-20-2008
