20110110711CHUCKLESS BUSHINGLESS JOINT DESIGN - A pivot joint includes a first member pivotally connected to a second member by a pivot pin. The first member includes a first surface, a second surface, and an opening extending therethrough. The opening is surrounded by a plurality of embossments protruding from the first surface and defining an embossment height. A second member includes a first surface, a second surface, and an opening extending therethrough. The pivot pin extends through the openings in the first and second members and includes a shoulder defining a shoulder height equal to the embossment height. The first surface of the second member engages the embossments and the shoulder to control axial free-play of the pivot joint. An inner surface of the opening in the first member engages the pivot pin to control diametrical free-play of the pivot joint.05-12-2011
20090267376Removable Power Seat Connector - A vehicle seat assembly adapted to be removably coupled to a floor in a vehicle is provided. An electrical component is mounted to the seat assembly. A riser assembly is also mounted to the seat assembly. A first electrical connector is mounted to the riser assembly and electrically coupled to the electrical component. A second electrical connector is adapted to be mounted to the floor. The first electrical connector linearly slidingly engages the second electrical connector as the seat assembly is secured to the floor for electrically coupling the first electrical connector with a vehicle power source.10-29-2009
20080231087Extended Travel Rotating Mechanism - A power retracting assembly includes an actuator, an output shaft operatively coupled to the actuator, and an outer plate rotatably coupled to the output shaft about an upper axis. A rigid link fixed to the output shaft pivots about a primary lower axis. Rotation of the outer plate by the output shaft in a first direction causes pivotal movement of the link about the primary lower axis in a second direction, thereby rotating the outer plate and the output shaft about the primary lower axis in the second direction. A bracket pivots about a secondary lower axis. A fastener extends from the outer plate through the bracket. As the outer plate rotates about the primary lower axis, the fastener also rotates, pulling the bracket about the secondary lower axis. A stop extending from the bracket travels along an anchor between a seating end and a stowed end for defining movement of the link and the seat assembly between the seating and stowed positions.09-25-2008
