The different layers and webs may be bonded together to form the fabric using calendaring, thermal bonding and/or adhesives. The breathable composite barrier fabric is capable of blocking particles as small as 0.3 microns at greater than 99% efficiency while allowing air transmissions between 7 CFM and 9 CFM at 20 Pa.
