20120006913LIQUID SUPPLY CONTAINER FOR A SPRAY COATING DEVICE - A system includes a gravity-feed spray coating device having a body with a liquid inlet, a handle coupled to the body, a spray head coupled to the body, a liquid passage extending from the liquid inlet to the spray head, and a gravity-feed container fastener disposed adjacent the liquid inlet. The gravity-feed container fastener includes a non-compression container fastening mechanism. The system also includes a first gravity-feed liquid supply container having a liquid outlet and a compression fitting adapter, wherein the compression fitting adapter compression fits the liquid outlet to the liquid inlet without the non-compression container fastening mechanism.01-12-2012
20110049116REMOTE WELDING SYSTEM AND METHOD - Embodiments of a pendant associated with a multi-process welding power supply that allows a user to switch processes and reverse an output polarity while located remotely from a power supply unit are provided. Certain embodiments include a pendant with a wire spool and wire feeder drive circuitry that is configured to activate spooling during MIG welding. Control circuitry that may include processing circuitry and memory is provided. The control system may disable redundant controls on the power supply unit user interface when the power supply unit is connected to the pendant via a supply cable. Additionally, the control system may set the process, set the polarity, enable or disable a wire feed, and enable or disable gas flow according to inputs received via a user interface on either the power supply unit or the pendant.03-03-2011
20100194118ENGINE-DRIVEN GENERATOR SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD - A system and method are provided for controlling an internal combustion engine driving a generator/welder or a stand-alone generator. Controlling the engine may include altering the engine speed based upon a detected demand on the generator and/or operating parameters of a welder. For example, the engine speed may be increased based on a detected draw on the generator and/or the operating parameters of the welder. In addition, the engine speed may be automatically decreased to a non-standard idle speed or the engine may be automatically turned off if no demand is detected for a period of time. Additionally, the engine speed may be increased if only frequency-insensitive demands are detected on the generator. Combinations of these and further methods may be executed. Various devices are provided for implementing the above methods.08-05-2010
20100085832Rotary Shaft Seal Arrangement for Mixing Bowl - A mixer arrangement includes a mixer bowl, an agitator within the mixer bowl and a shaft extending through a wall of the mixer bowl for moving the agitator. A seal assembly is associated with the shaft at an external side of the mixer bowl wall. The seal assembly includes a boot component disposed about the shaft, the boot component formed of a resiliently compressible material. A boot compression component is disposed about the shaft and moveable along the shaft between a seal position that urges the boot component toward the mixer bowl wall and a release position away from the boot component. A linkage is connected to the boot compression component and has an over center orientation for holding the boot compression component in the seal position.04-08-2010
20100012636AIR FLOW METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A WELDER-GENERATOR - Configurations of internal components of a welder-generator are provided to improve efficiency of the cooling of the internal components. The disclosed embodiments include configurations in which a single fan, such as an engine fan, drives a single airflow path through the welder-generator. Additionally, embodiments are provided with configurations in which a primary engine fan drives a first airflow path and a secondary generator fan drives a second airflow path through the welder-generator. In disclosed embodiments, internal components are thermally aligned such that air circulates first through components with low critical operating temperatures and last through components with higher critical operating temperatures.01-21-2010
20090148612Spray gun having adjustable handle - A spray coating device having a an adjustable handle is provided. The adjustable handle can be extended or folded relative the body of the spray coating device. This provides the user with an ability to easily manipulate and move the spray coating device. The spray coating device also includes a plurality of molecular components adapted to ease replacement at ports within the spray coating device.06-11-2009
