20160102937 | OFFSET RISER STRUCTURE FOR ARCHERY BOWS - An offset riser for an archery bow has an upper end and a lower end each having limb attachment points, wherein a central plane laterally divides the bow through the upper and lower limb attachment points. The riser has a handle portion positioned between the upper end and the lower end and a front strut extending from the upper end to the handle portion, wherein the front strut has a front sight window portion that is offset from the central plane. A rear strut extends from the upper end to the handle portion as well, and it has a rear sight window portion that is offset from the central plane. In this riser, the front sight window portion has a different vertical location of transition lateral to the central plane than the rear sight window portion. This may produce increased stiffness, better visibility, less vibration, and other desirable characteristics. | 04-14-2016 |
20160097612 | CABLE GUARD APPARATUS AND METHOD - A compound archery bow having a reverse-pivot cable guard, wherein the cable guard has a first cantilever member connected to a riser at a proximal end and extending away from the riser at a distal end and a second cantilever member attached to the distal end of the first cantilever member and extending back toward the riser. The proximal end of the second cantilever member retains a bow cable such that when the bow is drawn, the second cantilever member flexes toward the plane of arrow flight and the bowstring and away from the riser. This design may reduce stresses on the cable guard, reverse torque on the riser, and improve cable life, among other benefits. | 04-07-2016 |
20160091273 | ADJUSTABLE LIMB SYSTEMS FOR ARCHERY BOWS - Systems, apparatus, and methods for adjusting limb placement in an archery bow are provided. The limb may be adjusted laterally and may be rotated around its length to manipulate the position of the distal end of the limb with respect to the riser. The limb may be rotated by posts extending from the limb or limb bolt. The limb may also be rotated by posts or shims positioned in an adjustable dowel installed in the riser or by shims installed in the limb between the limb and the riser. | 03-31-2016 |
20140041645 | ARCHERY BOW LIMB DAMPENING SYSTEM - An archery bow includes a riser, first and second limbs, a bowstring, and a vibration dampening assembly. The riser includes opposing ends and the first and second limbs extend from the opposing ends of the riser. The bowstring extends between the first and second limbs. The vibration dampening assembly includes a dampening member and a cantilever member having a first end mounted to the riser and a second end supporting the dampening member. The dampening member is suspended by the cantilever member out of contact with the first limb when the archery bow is drawn and contacts the first limb to dampen vibrations when the archery bow is released. | 02-13-2014 |
20130306046 | ARCHERY BOWSTRING ADJUSTER - An archery bow adjuster includes first and second adjuster portions. The first portion is configured to mount to one of a bowstring and a cable. The second portion is configured to mount to the one of the bowstring and the cable. The first portion is rotatable relative to the second portion to adjust a length of the one of the bowstring and the cable of an archery bow. | 11-21-2013 |
20130167822 | MODULAR QUIVER APPARATUS AND METHOD - An arrow quiver includes a base member, a bow attachment member configured to mount the base member to an archery bow, at least one arrow mounting assembly, and a hood assembly. The at least one arrow mounting assembly includes a first arrow mounting portion mounted to the base member and configured to retain a first plurality of arrows, and a second arrow mounting portion releasably mounted to the first arrow mounting portion and configured to retain a second plurality of arrows. The hood assembly is mounted to the base member and configured to at least partially hood arrow points of the plurality of arrows retained by the at least one arrow mounting assembly. | 07-04-2013 |
20130036617 | DUAL BAR ADJUSTABLE BOW SIGHT - A bow sight includes a mounting assembly, a sight component, and an adjustment system. The bow sight is mounted to an archery bow with the mounting assembly. The adjustment system couples the sight component to the mounting assembly. The mounting assembly includes at least one support rail and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket connects to the archery bow and is infinitely adjustable along a length of the at least one support rail to adjust a position of the sight component toward and away from the archery bow. | 02-14-2013 |
20120042861 | ARCHERY BOW IN-LINE CABLE GUARD AND METHODS - An archery bow cable guard includes a base portion and first and second cable rollers. The base portion is configured to mount to a riser of an archery bow. The first and second cable rollers are mounted to the base portion and arranged to contact a cable of the archery bow. Each roller has an axis of rotation that is arranged perpendicular to a length dimension of the cable. The axis of rotation of the first and second cable rollers are spaced apart in a direction parallel to a longitudinal dimension of the archery bow cable guard. | 02-23-2012 |
20110303203 | LIMB CONNECTION APPARATUS FOR ARCHERY BOWS - A traditional archery bow includes a handle assembly, a bowstring, and at least one connection apparatus. The handle assembly includes a riser, an upper limb, and a lower limb. The upper and lower limbs each include a proximal end connected to the riser and a distal end. The bowstring extends between the distal ends of the upper and lower limbs. The at least one connection apparatus is mounted to at least one of the upper or lower limbs. An accessory such as a bushing or stabilizer may be mounted to one of the limbs with the connection apparatus. | 12-15-2011 |
20100326415 | VIBRATION DAMPENING APPARATUS - Apparatuses and structures for dampening vibrational energy from a system are disclosed. Particularly, at least one dampening member including an elongated body comprising a resilient, pliable material may be coupled to the base via at least one coupling structure structured for coupling at least a portion of the elongated body of the at least one dampening member to the dampening apparatus. Such a structure or dampening apparatus may be incorporated or attached to an archery system. Specifically, an archery system or an archery accessory component (e.g., a quiver or sight) may include at least one dampening member including a elongated body comprising a resilient, pliable material and at least one coupling structure structured for accepting at least a portion of the elongated body of the at least one dampening member so as to couple the at least one dampening member to the archery bow or component thereof. | 12-30-2010 |
20090000606 | BOWSTRING SUPPRESSION DEVICE - A bowstring suppression device can be coupled to a bow to reduce the sound produced by the bowstring when the bow is drawn and released. The bowstring suppression device may include a cushion portion that is positioned adjacent to the bowstring when the bow is in an undrawn configuration. When the bow is drawn and released, the bowstring contacts the bowstring suppression device thereby deadening residual movement of the bowstring and reducing the sound generated by the bowstring. | 01-01-2009 |
