The power transmission apparatus includes a first magnetic member which is provided around a rotating shaft of an impeller, and a second magnetic member which is provided around a rotor shaft of a generating unit. The second magnetic member is disposed at a position facing the first magnetic member such that similar poles of the first and second magnetic members face each other. Thus, when the impeller is rotated by wind, the rotor shaft of the generating unit is rotated by magnetic repulsive force between the first magnetic member and the second magnetic member.
