The coating is a primer coating that is applied onto a foil layer of a lottery document that allows for the printing of an indicia image for purposes of a lottery game. The coating comprises a composition of an acrylic emulsion polymer such as Joncryl HR 1620, water, a mineral oil defoamer such as BYK-035, a finely micronized polypropylene wax such as Micropro 440W, and an acrylic emulsion binder such as Joncryl 624.
