20110253214ELECTRICITY GENERATING APPARATUS USING SOLAR POWER - An electricity generating apparatus using solar power includes a supporting device for supporting movably a solar power collecting unit that includes a solar power collecting plate carried on a carrier for converting solar power into electrical energy, and a condensing unit mounted on the carrier and disposed above the solar power collecting plate. The supporting device includes a disk member mounted rotatably on a top side of a hollow base body and driven by a drive unit in the base body to rotate relative to the base body in a central axis of the disk member, and a telescopic rod member and two upright supporting rods interconnecting said carrier and the disk member. A control module controls the drive unit and the telescopic rod member based on a solar radiating direction such that the power solar collecting plate is moved to face sunlight.10-20-2011
20110133471APPARATUS FOR GENERATING ELECTRIC POWER USING WIND ENERGY - An apparatus for generating electric power from wind energy includes a blade device rotatable relative to a base to convert wind energy into a mechanical rotary power output, and having an upright rod connected with upright blades and coupled to a generator in the base to convert the mechanical rotary power output into electric power. Each blade has spaced wind-collecting ribs extending vertically from a first side surface thereof, thereby defining a wind-collecting space between any two adjacent wind-collecting ribs. A wind-collecting unit includes upright plates mounted on the base, angularly equidistant and disposed around the blade device. Any two adjacent plates define an inwardly converging wind-guiding channel therebetween. The plates are non-flat so that wind is guided by the plates to blow onto the first side surfaces of the blades via the wind-guiding channels.06-09-2011
