One such embodiment includes processing, utilizing a computer processor, debtor account records stored in an account database to match debtor account records with probate estate records stored in a probate estate database. Upon identification of a match of a debtor account record with a probate estate record, the debtor account record may be associated with the probate estate record. Subsequently a claims process may be executed to generate claims against probate estates. Generating such a claim, when two or more accounts are identified for a single debtor, may consist of generating a single claim against the probate estate of the debtor. One embodiment includes receiving a client file, wherein the file includes a record of individual client debtors and determining if a date of death is available for each of the individual client debtors. Some such embodiments further include identifying one or more courts in which to search for a probate estate for each of the individual client debtors and searching for a probate estate in each identified court for each respective client debtor. In some embodiments, if a probate estate is not identified for a client debtor, the client debtor is placed in a queue, and the search is performed on a recurring or periodic basis until the probate estate is located or a certain period of time has passed.12-23-2010
