The method generally comprises the mixing of sulfur and an ultra-accelerator into a mixture of an elastomeric polymer matrix, fillers, and silane coupling agent during the silanization reaction step, prior to the occurrence of vulcanization. The addition of the ultra-accelerator, such as TBzTD, enhances the efficiency of the silanization reaction and forms at least one bond with the elastomeric polymer matrix.
