The dampener can include a housing with an inlet half and an outlet half having a recess, a shaft hole, and an extension with an outlet port. The inlet half can be secured to the outlet half, and can have an extension with an inlet port, forming a flow path. A choke plate can be disposed in the recess within the flow path. A shaft can be disposed through the outlet half to move the openings. The dampener can include an indicator plate with indicator openings. A fastener can engage the indicator openings and secure to the outlet half.
