20150273499 | Dripless Atomizing Nozzle - A dripless atomizing nozzle may include a nozzle body having a liquid orifice in fluid communication with a liquid inlet, a gas orifice in communication with a gas inlet, and a liquid passage connecting the liquid inlet and the liquid orifice, and a piston body having a piston passage communicating with the gas inlet; the nozzle body may include a connecting portion shaped to enable the piston body to be selectively removed from and attached to the nozzle body. A piston positioned in the piston passage may include a stem and a bias element connected to move the piston and stem within the piston passage such that the presence of gas above a predetermined pressure in the piston passage overcomes a force of the bias element to displace the piston to move the tip away from the liquid orifice to open the liquid orifice. | 10-01-2015 |
20120193304 | LIQUID VACUUMING AND FILTERING DEVICE AND METHOD - A liquid vacuuming and filtering device may include a container having a sealed interior, a vacuum pump connected to the interior, a two-way valve connected to the interior, a flexible hose connected to the valve, a filter positioned within the interior and connected to the valve and a standpipe positioned within the interior and connected to the valve. The pump may be adjusted to a filling configuration, in which the pump evacuates the container interior to a pressure below ambient, causing fluid to be drawn through the hose, valve, and filter, which collects suspended particulates; or to a discharge configuration, in which the pump pressurizes the interior to a pressure above ambient, wherein the valve is adjusted to allow filtered fluid within the container to flow through the standpipe, valve and out through the hose. | 08-02-2012 |
20110062091 | Liquid Vacuuming And Filtering Device And Method - A liquid vacuuming and filtering device may include a container having an interior sealed from the ambient, a vacuum pump in communication with the interior, a two-way valve connected to the container interior, a flexible hose connected to the valve, a filter positioned within the container interior and connected to the valve and a standpipe positioned within the interior and connected to the valve. The vacuum pump may be adjusted to a filling configuration in which the pump evacuates the container interior to a pressure below ambient, which causes fluid to be drawn through the hose, valve and through the filter, which may collect particulates that contaminate the fluid. Filtered fluid then collects within the container. The vacuum pump also may be adjustable to a discharge configuration in which the pump pressurizes the interior to a pressure above ambient, wherein the valve is adjusted to allow filtered fluid within the container to flow through the standpipe, valve and be discharged from the container through the hose. The device may be suitable for reclaiming contaminated fluid used in machining operations, oil or coolant reservoirs, cooking oil and the like. | 03-17-2011 |
