The present invention also provides a method of preparing a composition comprising a solvated aromatic amine and a liquid carrier, said method comprising the steps of providing a reaction mixture comprising: a) an aromatic amine; b) at least one of an anhydride, an isocyanate or an acid; and c) a liquid carrier; and heating the reaction mixture at an elevated temperature to provide the solvated aromatic amine in the liquid carriers.
