The safety valve is arranged to open and close a gas supply opening. The gas flow control system is driven by a motor and comprises driving means configured for engaging an end of a safety valve spindle, for moving the safety valve spindle from a closed to an open configuration. The driving means comprise converter means disposed intermediate the motor and an end of a push pin. The converter means are configured to convert the rotational movement of a drive shaft, rotated by the motor, into a linear movement of the push pin.
