Also provided are a method for preparing ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers by using the above method and the fibers prepared by this method. The gelatinized pre-oriented filaments prepared by the above method are used to prepare the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers with the number of broken filament ends per 10 km being not more than 2 stretched at 40-55 fold, and the prepared ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers have a denier per filament of less than 2.2 D and excellent mechanical performance. | 09-25-2014 |

Since the dissolved solution functions to plasticize the swollen solution, the problem of high viscosity of the spinning solution is well addressed, thus ensuring that the spinning solution has a good fluidity and spinning continuity, and avoiding broken filament and filament breakage from occurring in the subsequent spinning process, so as to prepare ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber with good performance. | 06-06-2013 |
