20100140487X-RAY DETECTOR INCLUDING SCINTILLATOR, A LENS ARRAY, AND AN IMAGE INTENSIFIER - An X-ray detection device including a scintillator configured to convert gamma rays or X-rays into optical radiation, an optical image intensifier configured to intensify the optical radiation to generate intensified optical radiation, an optical coupling system configured to guide the intensified optical radiation, and a solid state detector configured to detect the intensified optical radiation to generate an interaction image representing an X-ray energy emission and to perform photon counting based on data of the interaction image.06-10-2010
20090050811Gamma camera including a scintillator and an image intensifier - A gamma-ray or X-ray detection device including a scintillator configured to convert gamma rays or X-rays into optical radiation, an optical image intensifier configured to intensify the optical radiation to generate intensified optical radiation, an optical coupling system configured to guide the intensified optical radiation, and a solid state detector configured to detect the intensified optical radiation to generate an interaction image representing a gamma-ray or X-ray energy emission.02-26-2009
20090017553Immunoassay-based microsensing using optical sensors - A biosensor device, system, and method for detecting biological material. The sensor includes a substrate including sample regions having attachable thereon an immobilized first species associated with the biological material and includes at least one optical sensor associated with the sample regions and configured to detect induced radiation from a second species selectively attached to the first species at the sample regions. The induced radiation provides an indication that the biological material is on the substrate. The system includes a processor in communication with the optical sensor and is configured to monitor the induced radiation from the second species. The method immobilizes a first species of the biological material on the at least one sample region, attaches a second species of the biological material to the first species, induces radiation from the second species, and detects the radiation with at least one optical sensor associated with the at least one sample region.01-15-2009
