The work units may have a fixed size. The data of the work units is given to a redundant array of independent disks (RAID) library. The RAID library applies parity to the data and produces a number of output streams. Each stream includes data from the work units and redundant data from the parity application. The streams are combined and sent over a network. The inverse parity is applied on the receiving side to recreate the data. The redundant data is used in place of any data having an error condition, such as being lost or corrupted.
