20110279386METHOD FOR DETERMINING TOUCH POINTS ON TOUCH PANEL AND SYSTEM THEREOF - The present invention discloses a method for determining touch points on a touch panel and a system thereof. The method includes the following steps: sampling, calculating a difference, comparing the difference, sampling a determinative area, and calculating a barycenter. The barycenter position from the said steps is a touch point position. The present invention can overcome the problem of the ghost point in traditional touch panels and also be applicable for touch panels of various types.11-17-2011
20110202692COMPUTER PERIPHERAL APPARATUS - The present invention discloses a computer peripheral apparatus. The computer peripheral apparatus includes an USB hub, at least one build-in card reader, and a controller. Each build-in card reader is electrically connected to one built-in downstream port of the USB hub. The controller connects to the USB hub and the build-in card reader to monitor the connection requirement of the build-in card reader. When the controller determines the build-in card reader does not need to be kept connected, the controller sets the status of its corresponding built-in downstream port as a “first status,” which defines the corresponding built-in downstream port is not connected. Thus, the computer system is informed that the built-in downstream port is not connected. Therefore, if there are no USB devices connecting to other downstream ports of the USB hub, the entire computer peripheral apparatus can enter into hibernation mode, thereby lowering the power consumption08-18-2011
20110187870Video/Audio Module Applied to Computer System - The present invention discloses a video/audio module applied to a computer system. The video/audio module includes a circuit board, at least one analog microphone unit, and at least one analog-to-digital converter. The analog microphone unit and the analog-to-digital converter are electrically connected and fixed to the circuit board. The analog microphone unit captures an audio signal from ambient air and converts it to an analog audio signal. The analog-to-digital converter receives the analog audio signal and transforms the analog audio signal into a digital audio signal. Because of the analog-to-digital converter, a digital microphone unit can be replaced by the analog microphone unit, thereby reducing the production cost of the video/audio module.08-04-2011
20110161545I2C/SPI CONTROL INTERFACE CIRCUITRY, INTEGRATED CIRCUIT STRUCTURE, AND BUS STRUCTURE THEREOF06-30-2011
20110138203UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS APPARATUS FOR LOWERING POWER CONSUMPTION - A universal serial bus (USB) apparatus for lowering power consumption is provided. The universal serial bus apparatus includes a universal serial bus circuitry, a monitor unit, and a system duty clock generator. The monitor unit is used to monitor a start of frame (SOF) packet generated by the universal serial bus circuitry and generates a clock control signal accordingly. The system duty clock generator receives the clock control signal and a reference clock signal to generate a system duty clock signal. The enable or disable status of the system duty clock signal can be determined according to the SOF packet monitored by the monitor unit so as to make the universal serial bus apparatus enter into runtime idle mode to lower the power consumption.06-09-2011
20090014521CARD READER - A card reader that can enhance the efficiency of the application system is embedded in the application system. The application system has an external memory drive. The card reader includes at least one memory card connector, a flash memory, and a control unit. The memory card connector is used for being plugged with a memory card. The flash memory is driven and integrated by the external memory drive. The control unit is electrically connected with the memory card connector and the flash memory and is used for transmitting data between the memory card and the flash memory and the application system via the control unit. Thereby, the flash memory can be used as an extended memory of the application system. The total memory of the application system increases, and the efficiency of the application system is enhanced.01-15-2009
20080298266METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ASSESSING STATUSES OF CHANNELS - An assessment system classifies a plurality of channels to several channel groups according to the characteristics of the channel groups and assesses the status of each channel by a corresponding method, such as a period comparison method or a SNR comparison method, defined based on the channel groups. Hence, the present invention allows simpler computations to be made and a simpler circuit structure to be used.12-04-2008
20080298223PACKET DETECTING CIRCUIT AND METHOD THEREOF - A packet detecting circuit detects a packet inputting time via calculating a delay correlation function and an autocorrelation function. In order to prevent a DC offset from affecting the calculation of the delay correlation function and the autocorrelation function, when the packet detecting circuit calculates the delay correlation function and the autocorrelation function, the packet detecting circuit will calculate and remove the error of the delay correlation function and the autocorrelation function produced by a DC offset. Then the packet detecting circuit calculates a packet triggering value according to the delay correlation function and the autocorrelation function for detecting the packet inputting time more precisely.12-04-2008
20080276037Method to Access Storage Device Through Universal Serial Bus - A method accessing a flash memory storage device through universal serial bus (USB) of the present invention includes a flash controller and a flash memory, wherein the method includes connecting the storage device to a USB interface of an electronic device; outputting a plurality of accessing instructions to the flash controller via the electronic device; deciding which data is needed to be temporarily saved in a cache memory and a priority of the accessing instructions according to the characteristic of the file system and the content of preceding instructions of the flash controller; and writing the data temporarily saved in the cache memory into the flash memory according to the priority of the flash controller. The objective of the method of the present invention is to enhance the operation efficiency of the storage device.11-06-2008
