20110311001SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING DIGITAL AUDIO DATA - A system for receiving digital audio data may include a diversity-receiving unit. The diversity-receiving unit may include at least two antennas and at least one receiving channel, which can be switched from one antenna to another antenna. To reduce audible disturbances in the receiving channel, a dropout concealment may be carried out when disturbances in the received audio signal occur. The dropout concealment may use intact audio signal parts before the disturbance and/or after the disturbance to synthesize the concealment signal. The receiving channel may be switched to another antenna as a function of whether the dropout concealment is activated.12-22-2011
20110211709HEADPHONES APPARATUS - The headphones apparatus has at least one ear cup, and at least one operating element coupled to the ear cup for the regulation of one or more audio functions. To facilitate the regulation for the user, the operating element can include an annular dial that is accessible from outside of the ear cup. The annular dial may be rotational, shiftable, tiltable, depressable, deformable, or any combination thereof, relative to the ear cup to operably regulate one or more audio functions of the ear cup.09-01-2011
20110051981In-Ear Earphone - An earphone device converts electric signals to audible sound. The earphone includes a first electroacoustic transducer and a second electroacoustic transducer. A separating part of the earphone is positioned between the second transducer and a sound opening of a plug area of the earphone. The separating part forms a barrier between a first sound path for the first transducer and a second sound path for the second transducer. The first sound path comprises a substantially annular cross-section disposed around the second sound path. The earphone includes a filter disk arranged in the sound opening, in which an acoustic friction is provided for each of the first and second sound paths.03-03-2011
20100266148TRANSDUCER WITH DEFORMABLE CORNER - A transducer generates acoustic energy. The transducer is suitable for incorporation into any device that needs sound reproduction capability, including devices with generally rectangular geometries such as cell phones, PDAs, and portable gaming devices. The transducer includes a displaceable membrane with a deformable corner. The deformable corner may extend the frequency range over which the transducer generates acoustic energy without distortion. The deformable corner may be part of a membrane periphery around the displaceable membrane. The membrane periphery may be square, triangular, or may take any other polygonal shape.10-21-2010

20090262956MICROPHONES WITH EQUAL SENSITIVITY - A microphone and a method for producing a microphone with a sensitivity stipulated within narrow limits. The microphone each has a microphone capsule and an amplifier. A network of passive components, preferably resistors, is allocated to the amplifier. The sensitivity of the microphone is measured and the passive components are then disconnected to change the amplification of amplifier in the desired manner.10-22-2009
