Disclosed systems and methods incorporate devices and/or steps for measuring a geographic position of a vehicle; referencing information stored in a database regarding areas in the vicinity of a plurality of geographic reference points at which output from the vehicle mobile communication system may interfere with a fixed ground-based communication system; comparing the geographic position of the vehicle with the stored information and determining that output from the vehicle mobile communication system should be modified and automatically disabling/re-enabling the vehicle mobile communication system based on this determination.	08-28-2008
