The second end 124 of the first bar 120 is attached to the first end 172 of the elongated cylindrical shaft 171 of the second end bar 170. The second bar 140 of FIG. 1 is separated from other components. In one example, a length of an entirety of the element-interchangeable weight bar assembly in the first assembled condition (FIG. 4) is 6 feet.
[0022] In a second assembled condition (FIG. 8), the first weight 180 is mounted on the elongated cylindrical shaft 161 of the first end bar 160. The first weight 180 contacts the collar 169 of the first end bar 160. The second weight 190 is mounted on the elongated cylindrical shaft 171 of the second end bar 170. The second weight 190 contacts the collar 179 of the second end bar 170. The first end 142 of the second bar 140 is attached to the second end 164 of the elongated cylindrical shaft 161 of the first end bar 160. The second end 144 of the second bar 140 is attached to the first end 172 of the elongated cylindrical shaft 171 of the second end bar 170. The first bar 120 of FIG. 1 is separated from other components. [0036] FIG. 5 shows a side view (a first viewing direction perpendicular to the XZ plane) of the bar 120 of a curled shape in examples of the present disclosure. FIG. 7 shows a top view (a second viewing direction perpendicular to the XY plane) of the bar 120 (a curled bar seems flat in the second viewing direction) in examples of the present disclosure. An entirety of a centerline 127 of the bar 120 is on the XZ plane. The bar 120 further comprises a first circular arc section 132, a flat section 134, and a second circular arc section 136. The flat section 134 is positioned between the first circular arc section 132 and the second circular arc section 136. In examples of the present disclosure, a radius of curvature of the first circular arc section 132 is the same as that of the second circular arc section 136.
[0037] A diameter of the collar 169 of FIG. 2 of the first end bar 160 is larger than a diameter of the elongated cylindrical shaft 161 of the first end bar 160. A diameter of the collar 179 of FIG. 2 of the second end bar 170 is larger than a diameter of the elongated cylindrical shaft 171 of the second end bar 170.
[0038] Referring now to FIGS. 2, 4, and 6, the first end 122 of the bar 120 comprises a free end 611, a non-threaded section 624, and a threaded section 634. The threaded section 634 is shorter than the non-threaded section 624. In one example, with the non-threaded section 624, a length of the threaded section is reduced from 2.5 inch to 0.5 inch, thus reducing assembling time (because of less threads). The non-threaded section 624 is between the free end 611 and the threaded section 634. The second end 164 of the first end bar 160 comprises a cavity 632, a non-threaded section 644, and a threaded section 654. The cavity 632 comprises a stop 636. In the first assembled condition (FIG. 4), a vertical surface 610 of the free end 611 contacts the stop 636 of the cavity 632. The threaded section 634 of the free end 611 of the first end 122 of the bar 120 is engaged with the threaded section 654 of the second end 164 of the first end bar 160.
[0039] In one example, in the first assembled condition (FIG. 4), the non-threaded section 624 is loosely disposed in the cavity 632. In this case, an outer dimeter of the non-threaded section 624 is in a range from 80% to 95% of an inner diameter of the non-threaded section 644. In another example, in the first assembled condition (FIG. 4), the non-threaded section 624 is lightly pressed (still rotatable) in the cavity 632. In this case, an outer dimeter of the non-threaded section 624 is in a range from 100.01% to 102% of an inner diameter of the non-threaded section 644.
[0040] Similar to the first end 122 of the bar 120 and the second end 164 of the first end bar 160 shown in FIGS. 2, 4, and 6, in the first assembled condition (FIG. 4), the second end 124 of the bar 120 is engaged with the first end 172 of the second end bar 170. The second end 124 of the bar 120 comprises a free end, a non-threaded section, and a threaded section. The threaded section is shorter than the non-threaded section of the second end 124 of the bar 120. The non-threaded section of the second end 124 of the bar 120 is between the free end of the second end 124 of the bar 120 and the threaded section of the second end 124 of the bar 120. The first end 172 of the second end bar 170 comprises a cavity, a non-threaded section, and a threaded section. In the first assembled condition (FIG. 4), a vertical surface of the free end of the second end 124 of the bar 120 contacts the stop of the cavity of the first end 172 of the second end bar 170. The threaded section of the free end of the second end 124 of the bar 120 is engaged with the threaded section of the first end 172 of the second end bar 170.
[0041] FIG. 3 shows a side view of a weight bar assembly 300 in a separated condition in examples of the present disclosure. FIG. 8 shows a side view of the weight bar assembly 300 in an assembled condition in examples of the present disclosure.
[0042] Referring now to FIGS. 3 and 8. The weight bar assembly 300 comprises a bar 140, a first end bar 160, a second end bar 170, a first weight 180, and a second weight 190. In examples of the present disclosure, a shipping package to a customer includes the bar 140, the first end bar 160, the second end bar 170, the first weight 180, and the second weight 190. It is optional to include additional plurality of weights.
[0043] The bar 140 comprises a first end 142 and a second end 144. The first end bar 160 comprises an elongated cylindrical shaft 161 and a collar 169 attached to the elongated cylindrical shaft 161. The elongated cylindrical shaft 161 comprises a first end 162 and a second end 164. The second end bar 170 comprises an elongated cylindrical shaft 171 and a collar 179 attached to the elongated cylindrical shaft 171. The elongated cylindrical shaft 171 comprises a first end 172 and a second end 174.
[0044] In a separated condition (FIG. 3), the bar 140, the first end bar 160, the second end bar 170, the first weight 180, and the second weight 190 are separated from one another.
[0045] In an assembled condition (FIG. The first end 142 of the bar 140 is attached to the second end 164 of the elongated cylindrical shaft 161 of the first end bar 160. The second end 144 of the bar 140 is attached to the first end 172 of the elongated cylindrical shaft 171 of the second end bar 170. In one example, a length of an entirety of the element-interchangeable weight bar assembly in the first assembled condition (FIG. 8) is 6 feet.
[0046] FIG. 9 shows a side view (a first viewing direction perpendicular to the XZ plane) of the bar 140 of a cylindrical shape in examples of the present disclosure. An entirety of a centerline 927 of the bar 140 is on the XZ plane and is on the XY plane.
[0047] A diameter of the collar 169 of FIG. 3 of the first end bar 160 is larger than a diameter of the elongated cylindrical shaft 161 of the first end bar 160. A diameter of the collar 179 of FIG. 3 of the second end bar 170 is larger than a diameter of the elongated cylindrical shaft 171 of the second end bar 170.
[0048] Referring now to FIGS. 3, 6 (right hand side), 8, and 9, the first end 142 of the bar 140 comprises a free end, a non-threaded section, and a threaded section. The threaded section is shorter than the non-threaded section of the free end of the first end 142 of the bar 140. In one example, with the non-threaded section, a length of the threaded section of the first end 142 of the bar 140 is reduced from 2.5 inch to 0.5 inch, thus reducing assembling time (because of less threads). The non-threaded section of the first end 142 of the bar 140 is between the free end of the first end 142 of the bar 140 and the threaded section of the first end 142 of the bar 140. The second end 164 of the first end bar 160 comprises a cavity 632, a non-threaded section 644, and a threaded section 654. The cavity 632 comprises a stop 636. In the first assembled condition (FIG. 8), a vertical surface of the free end of the first end 142 of the bar 140 contacts the stop 636 of the cavity 632. The threaded section of the free end of the first end 142 of the bar 140 is engaged with the threaded section 654 of the second end 164 of the first end bar 160.
[0049] In one example, in the first assembled condition (FIG. 8), the non-threaded section of the first end 142 of the bar 140 is loosely disposed in the cavity 632. In this case, an outer dimeter of the non-threaded section of the first end 142 of the bar 140 is in a range from 80% to 95% of an inner diameter of the non-threaded section 644. In another example, in the first assembled condition (FIG. 8), the non-threaded section of the first end 142 of the bar 140 is lightly pressed (still rotatable) in the cavity 632. In this case, an outer dimeter of the non-threaded section of the first end 142 of the bar 140 is in a range from 100.01% to 102% of an inner diameter of the non-threaded section 644.
[0050] Similar to the first end 142 of the bar 140 and the second end 164 of the first end bar 160 shown in 3, 6 (right hand side), 8, and 9, in the first assembled condition (FIG. 8), the second end 144 of the bar 140 is engaged with the first end 172 of the second end bar 170. The second end 144 of the bar 140 comprises a free end, a non-threaded section, and a threaded section. The threaded section is shorter than the non-threaded section of the second end 144 of the bar 140. The non-threaded section of the second end 144 of the bar 140 is between the free end of the second end 144 of the bar 140 and the threaded section of the second end 144 of the bar 140. The first end 172 of the second end bar 170 comprises a cavity, a non-threaded section, and a threaded section. In the first assembled condition (FIG. 8), a vertical surface of the free end of the second end 144 of the bar 140 contacts the stop of the cavity of the first end 172 of the second end bar 170. The threaded section of the free end of the second end 144 of the bar 140 is engaged with the threaded section of the first end 172 of the second end bar 170.
[0051] Those of ordinary skill in the art may recognize that modifications of the embodiments disclosed herein are possible. For example, a weight of the first weight 180 may vary. A weight of the second weight 190 may vary. A shipping package to a customer may include additional weights other than the first weight 180 and the second weight 190. Other modifications may occur to those of ordinary skill in this art, and all such modifications are deemed to fall within the purview of the present invention, as defined by the claims.
