Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a tube member, and more particularly to a gun barrel.
[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art
[0004] Usually, a conventional gun barrel structure as disclosed in TWM480667 at least includes a barrel body, and two sides of the barrel body have an opening respectively. One of the openings is a conic opening tapered inward, and the other end of the openings is formed with two protruding ribs. A gun barrel can be put into the barrel body and push a bullet member through high pressure air. The bullet member is pressed by the two protruding ribs to produce a great tangential force so as to make the bullet member spin.
[0005] However, the gun barrel structure mentioned above does not have a structure for guiding and positioning the bullet member, so the preciseness and stability need to be improved. For example, when the bullet member enters the gun barrel and is pressed by the two protruding ribs, the position and direction of the bullet member may deviate so that the bullet member is unable to move smoothly in the gun barrel. Furthermore, the kinetic energy of the bullet member may decrease due to friction and collision with an inner wall of the gun barrel, so a shot range of the bullet member may decrease, and a user may mishit a target. In addition, an inner air pressure a conventional gun barrel is too great; therefore, when the bullet member is fired, the bullet member is influenced by the air pressure and becomes unstable.
[0006] The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0007] The major object of the present invention is to provide a gun barrel for guiding an air flow inside the gun barrel to make a bullet member fly stably. In addition, a number, a distance and an arrangement of vent holes may be adjusted for cooperating with various gun barrel structures to produce preferable effect. Furthermore, the gun barrel has a plurality of ramps for supporting a surface of the bullet member evenly to stabilize and balance the bullet member and for guiding and positioning the bullet member to elevate a shot range effectively and to prevent errors.
[0008] To achieve the above and other objects, a gun barrel of the present invention is provided, including: a barrel body, having a passage therethrough, the passage being provided for a bullet member to be received and pass therethrough, two opposite ends of the passage of the barrel body being respectively formed with a bullet inlet and a bullet outlet formed by an inner wall of the barrel body surroundingly and continuously arranged, a circumferential face of the barrel body being formed with an opening, the opening being near the bullet inlet; a tangential portion, disposed at the opening restrictedly and partially movably protrusive into the passage, the tangential portion for providing friction with a surface of the bullet member tangentially; and at least one vent hole, disposed through the barrel body and being near the bullet outlet.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0021] The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
[0022] Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 5 for a first preferred embodiment of the present invention. A gun barrel 1 includes a barrel body 10, a tangential portion 20 and at least one vent hole 30.
[0023] The barrel body 10 has a passage 11 therethrough, and the barrel body 10 may be, for example, round tubular. The passage 11 is provided for the bullet member 40 to be received and pass therethrough, and the bullet member 40 may be, for example, a ball-shaped bullet. Furthermore, an end of the passage 11 of the barrel body 10 is formed with a bullet inlet 12, and the other end of the passage 11 of the barrel body 10 opposite to the bullet inlet 12 may be formed with a bullet outlet 13 formed by an inner wall of the barrel body 10 surroundingly and continuously arranged. The bullet outlet 13 is annularly formed with a conic opening 131 gradually tapered inward. The bullet member 40 can be shot and move through the bullet inlet 12 and the passage 11 and toward the bullet outlet 13. An opening 14 is disposed through a circumferential face of the barrel body 10, and the opening 14 is near the bullet inlet 12.
[0024] An inner wall of the barrel body 10 is further formed with at least one ramp 50. For example, in this embodiment, the barrel body 10 is formed with two the ramps 50, and the two ramps 50 are disposed on two opposite sides of the opening 14. Furthermore, the two ramps 50 are symmetrically arranged relative to the opening 14, and the two ramps 50 are arranged symmetrically in intervals. The two ramps 50 may be formed with an included angle 51 therebetween. In this embodiment, the included angle 51 may be, for example, 60 degrees, but in other embodiments, the included angle 51 may be 90 degrees, 180 degrees or other degrees in accordance with various requirements. The ramps 50 are disposed at the bullet inlet and gradually ascend from the bullet inlet 12 toward an interior of the passage 11. Specifically, the ramps 50 are integrally recessed on the inner wall of the barrel body 10 and disposed substantially along an axial direction of the barrel body 10. Each ramp 50 has two opposite slant sides 52, and an end of each ramp 50 extends to the bullet inlet 12.
[0025] The gun barrel 1 further includes a sleeve tube 60 sleeved around the barrel body 10, and the tangential portion 20 is protrudingly disposed on an inner circumferential wall of the sleeve tube 60. The tangential portion 20 is restrictedly disposed at the opening 14 corresponding to the opening 14 and partially movably protrusive into the passage 11. The tangential portion 20 is for tangentially providing friction with a surface of the bullet member 40. Furthermore, the tangential portion 20 and the sleeve tube 60 may be integrally formed, and the tangential portion 20 may be made of flexible materials, for example, rubber.
[0026] In this embodiment, a plurality of the vent holes 30 are disposed through the barrel body 10 and near the bullet outlet 13, and the vent holes 30 are arranged in intervals. For example, the vent holes 30 may be arranged along the axial direction of the barrel body 10 in intervals (for example, the vent holes 30 may be arranged in equal or unequal intervals), and the vent holes 30 may be disposed through the barrel body 10 directly and formed on two sides of the barrel body 10. In this embodiment, the vent hole 30 may be round. Please further refer to FIGS. 6 and 7. In other embodiments, a vent hole 30a may be oval, and a vent hole 30b may be elongate or other shapes. It is to be noted that the vent hole 30 and the bullet outlet 13 have a predetermined distance therebetween axially, and the predetermined distance extends from the bullet outlet 13 inward to a predetermined position.
[0027] In actual practice, when the bullet member 40 passes through the bullet inlet 12 and enters the passage 11, the tangential portion 20 abuts against and provide friction with the bullet member 40 to make the bullet member 40 move toward and abut against the ramps 50. The slant sides 52 of the ramps 50 are provided for the bullet member 40 to abut thereagainst, and a ramp face of each ramp 50 and a surface of the bullet member 40 form a vent gap 53 therebetween. Specifically, in this embodiment, the surface of the bullet member 40 abuts against the two slant sides 52 of the two ramps 50 so that the surface of the bullet member 40 supports the two slant sides 52 of the two ramps 50 evenly to stabilize and balance the bullet member 40. In addition, when the bullet member 40 is pressed and shot out toward the bullet outlet 13, the bullet member 40 spins toward a direction due to friction (as shown in FIG. 5). Furthermore, the vent gap 53 may be provided for an air flow to flow therethrough and further actuating the bullet member 40 to spin.
[0028] The tangential portion 20 is pushably movable into the passage 11. For example, the tangential portion 20 may be pushed from outside to make the tangential portion 20 further abut against the bullet member 40 and produce greater friction with the bullet member 40. It is to be noted that a pushing force that the tangential portion 20 pushes the bullet member 40 distributes to the two slant sides 52 of the two ramps 50 evenly. Furthermore, a supporting effect of the bullet member 40 against the two ramps 50 may vary in accordance with the degree of the included angle 51 between the two ramps 50 so that the bullet member 40 can be stably guided and supported in the barrel body 10 and spin stably to elevate the shot range and prevent errors. The vent holes 30 allow the air flow in the barrel body 10 to flow therethrough so as to stabilize and balance a pressure of the barrel body 10 near the bullet outlet 13. In addition, the predetermined distance between the vent hole 30 and the bullet outlet 13 as well as the number and the arrangement of the vent holes 30 may be adjusted in accordance with different requirement to make the bullet member 40 fly stably when the bullet member 40 is shot.
[0029] Please refer to FIG. 8 for a fourth embodiment of the present invention. A plurality of vent holes 30c are arranged around the circumferential face of the barrel body 10 on a radial plane of the barrel body 10. More specifically, viewed from an axial direction of the barrel body 10, the vent holes 30c are angularly spaced and annularly disposed along the axial direction of the barrel body 10 for guiding the air flow in the barrel body 10.
[0030] Please refer to FIG. 9 for a fifth embodiment of the present invention. A plurality of vent holes 30d located on two opposite sides of the barrel body 10 are crossedly arranged. Preferably, when the bullet member 40 passes through the vent holes 30d which are crossedly arranged, pressures of two opposite sides of the bullet member 40 are different so as to make the bullet member 40 spin and make the shot range farther and the shooting effect preferable
[0031] Please refer to FIGS. 10 and 11 for a sixth embodiment of the present invention, a barrel body 10a further includes at least one blind guiding slot 70 disposed between the bullet outlet 13 and a vent hole 30e. The blind guiding slot 70 is recessed on a circumferential face of the barrel body 10a. An end of the blind guiding slot 70 is communicated with the vent hole 30e, and the other end of the blind guiding slot 70 extends to a distal side of the bullet outlet 13 and is communicated with outside. The vent hole 30e is axially elongate and trapped radially inward, and the blind guiding slot 70 is axially elongate and aligned with the vent hole 30e axially. Preferably, when an air flow in the barrel body 10a flows outward through the vent hole 30e, the blind guiding slot 70 is provided for guiding the air flow to flow along the blind guiding slot 70 to outside so as to elevate the effect of ventilation.
[0032] Given the above, a gun barrel of the present invention is provided for guiding the air flow in the gun barrel to allow the bullet member to fly stably. In addition, the number, the distance and the arrangement of the vent hole may be adjusted in accordance with various requirements. Furthermore, a plurality of ramps are provided for supporting the bullet member evenly to stabilize and balance the bullet member and for guiding the bullet member stably, increase the shot range and prevent errors effectively.
[0033] While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
