Abstract:
A portable stain treatment and conceal patch comprising of a flat,
flexible packet having an air-tight, openable, flat compartment.
Comprising of a shell element sealed together around the entire periphery
of the edge to a patch cover. Edge around the perimeter of the patch is
pre-treated with adhesive which in turn holds the cover sealed to the
patch and can function as adhesion medium to the surface which requires
treatment. Internally the package encompasses a sponge moistened material
containing treatment solution. A method of operation allows the cover to
be peeled off the patch and patch placed by adhesion on the surface
treated or used as a dab and discard device. Patch can be of variations
of colors and graphics to provide concealed or decorative function.Claims:
1. Invention discussed conceals a stain by adhering to the fabric around
it.
2. Invention discussed treats a stain while holding treatment medium presses against stain by adhering to the fabric around it.
Description:
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0001] This application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 61/991,869, filed May 12, 2014, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] This invention relates in general to a consumer products chemical industry in particular method of stain treatment of fabrics.
[0003] At present the available stain treatment apparatuses are available in form of pens, sprays or wipes which apply stain treatment agent but leave stain visible to the eye and soaked in solution. This makes clothing very unappealing to wear throughout a day.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The disclosed invention provides a conveniently packaged stain treatment agent that can be easily applied to the stain and left on clothing for appealing or concealing way of hiding the stain while treating it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0005] FIG. 1 is a perspective view for general application of the stain conceal and treatment patch.
[0006] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a stain conceal and treatment patch constructed in accordance with the typical depiction of the current invention.
[0007] FIG. 3 is a break out view of a stain conceal and treatment patch constructed in accordance with the typical depiction of the current invention.
[0008] FIG. 4a and b are perspective views of shape variations of a stain conceal and treatment patch.
[0009] FIG. 5a and b are perspective views of adhesive edge geometry variations of a stain conceal and treatment patch.
[0010] FIG. 6a, b and c are views of construction of flat type stain conceal and treatment patch.
[0011] FIG. 7a, b and c are detailed views for application of the current invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0012] Now with reference to the drawing FIG. 1 stain conceal and treatment patch 1 (FIG. 1) is applied to fabric 2 (FIG. 1).
[0013] A typical embodiment of the current invention is illustrated in (FIG. 2). Stain conceal and treatment patch 1 (FIG. 2) is equipped with a shell element 10 (FIG. 2) and capped by peelable cover 20 (FIG. 2).
[0014] A typical construction of the stain conceal and treatment patch is a shell element 10 (FIG. 3) with adhesion edge 40 (FIG. 3). Adhesion edge 40 (FIG. 3) is pre-treatment with adhesive 50 (FIG. 3). Inside of a shell element 10 (FIG. 3) is a stain treatment medium 30 (FIG. 3). Shell element 10 (FIG. 3) has cover 20 (FIG. 3) attached by methods of adhesion to the adhesion edge 40 (FIG. 3) by means of adhesive 50 (FIG. 3).
[0015] Alternatives for geometric shape of shell element 10 presented in (FIG. 4a,b) can be of any geometric shape and is inclusive but not limited by two variations of shell element 10 (FIG. 4a,b) shapes shown.
[0016] Alternative adhesion edge 40 (FIG. 5a,b) construction can have adhesion edge 40 (FIG. 5a) flared outward or adhesion edge 40 (FIG. 5b) flared inward.
[0017] Alternative compact shell element 10 (FIG. 6a,b,c) can be constructed without having a pocketed geometry and can simply be a flat piece that attaches to cover 20 (FIG. 6a,c) using adhesion edge 40 (FIG. 6b) which is pre-treated with adhesive 50 (FIG. 6b) by deflection at the edges this in turn compresses stain treatment medium 30 (FIG. 6b,c).
[0018] The method of application of stain conceal and treatment patch 1 (FIG. 7a,c) is to peel cover 20 (FIG. 7c) and place stain conceal and treatment patch 1 (FIG. 7a) to clothing around the stain 3 (FIG. 7b). After adhesion to fabric 2 (FIG. 7a) press on to the patch 1 (FIG. 7a) to get contact between stain treatment media 30 (FIG. 7c) and stain 3 (FIG. 7b) on fabric 2 (FIG. 7a,b).
[0019] Alternative usage peel cover 20 (FIG. 7c) hold stain conceal and treatment patch in your hand and dab it on the stain 3 (FIG. 7b) located on fabric 2 (FIG. 7b) until treated. Discard after use.
[0020] Full embodiment of the invention shown in FIG. 7c with stain conceal and treatment patch 1 (FIG. 7c) securely attached to fabric by adhesion edge 40 (FIG. 7c) by means of adhesive 50 (FIG. 7c). During this, shell element 10 (FIG. 7c) inside of which stain treatment media 30 (FIG. 7c) is held firmly in contact with stain 3 (FIG. 7b) on fabric 2 (FIG. 7a,b) while treating it.
[0021] Invention stain conceal and treatment patch 1 (FIG. 7a,c) gives advantage by providing stain treatment agent in convenient packets which can also be used as stylish or discreet masking patches. Stain conceal and treatment patch 1 (FIG. 7a,c) also can be used in a traditional apply and discard stain treatment application.
