Description:
FILED OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to functional clothing, particularly to a heat-generating cloth and a method for fabricating threads thereof.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The global warming is growing serious. Extreme climates, such as extremely hot or cold weathers, also occur more and more frequently. Therefore, the requirements for heat dissipating and warm keeping are growing up, and one of the most direct and effective approach to satisfy the requirements for heat dissipating and warm keeping is to improve clothing people worn.
[0003] Therefore, various types of functional clothing were devised to meet the requirements and have been popularly accepted by people. As to heat-dissipating, the wicking shirts for quick transpiration and fast drying and the cooling clothing for cooling down are very popular in summer.
[0004] As to warm keeping, the heat-generating clothing has been the best choice to resist coldness in winter, and the hottest styles thereof are sold so well that they are often out of stock.
[0005] In the conventional technology, the heat-generating clothing is fabricated via attaching a heat-generating material to clothes. The heat-generating material, such as coffee grounds or tourmaline, can emit infrared ray and thus can keep users warm.
[0006] In the conventional technology, the heat-generating material is ground into fine particles, and clothes are soaked in a liquid containing the fine heat-generating particles to let the fine heat-generating particles attach to the clothes. After drying the clothes the fabrication of a heat-generating clothing is finished. Moreover, coarse fiber is usually adopted to fabricate the heat-generating clothing to prolong its lifetime since the coarse fiber absorbs more particles.
[0007] However, the conventional technology only attaches the fine particles of heat-generating material to the surface of the clothes. Therefore, the attached fine particles will gradually drop out during washing. Then, the heat-generating clothes will gradually lose the heat-generating function after repeated washing Although the coarse fiber can enhance the attachment of fine particles of the heat-generating material and prolong the lifetime of heat-generating clothing, it causes poor tactile feeling to users. Therefore, the heat-generating clothing made of coarse fiber is hard to meet the requirement of users about wearing comfort. Obviously, the conventional fabrication method of the heat-generating clothing cannot meet the requirement of users and still has room to improve.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0008] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a nanoparticle-embedded heat-generating cloth which has prolonged lifetime and soft tactile feeling.
[0009] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a method for fabricating threads of the nanoparticle-embedded heat-generating cloth.
[0010] To achieve the abovementioned objectives, the present invention proposes a nanoparticle-embedded heat-generating cloth which comprises a fabric and a plurality of heat-generatin nanoparticles. The fabric includes a plurality of threads each of which includes a plurality of spaces, while the heat-generating nanoparticles till with the plurality of spaces and enclosed by the plurality of threads.
[0011] The present invention also proposes a method for fabricating the threads of the nanoparticle-embedded heat-generating cloth, which comprises steps of: letting a plurality of particles collide mutually to form a plurality of heat-generating nanoparticles; and heating and melting a yarn material at a temperature of 200-240° C., and fully fusing the melted yarn material with the plurality of heat-generating nanoparticles to form the plurality of threads through a spinning process.
[0012] The fabric generated by the present invention can be fabricated into various heat-generating clothing for users to wear. Since the heat-generating nanoparticles fill with the spaces and are enclosed by the threads, the heat-generating nanoparticles are tightly bonded to the threads. Thus, while the heat-generating clothing produced with the fabric of the invention is being washed, the drop amount of the heat-generating nanoparticles can be decreased to the minimum, or even no heat-generating nanoparticle drop is generated. In other words, the heat-generating clothing of the present invention can have prolonged lifetime.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0013] FIG. 1A is a sectional view of a nanoparticle-embedded heat-generating cloth of the present invention; and
[0014] FIG. 1B is a locally-enlarged view of FIG. 1A of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0015] Below, the embodiments are described in cooperation with the drawings to make easily understood the objectives, characteristics and accomplishments of the present invention. Refer to FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B respectively for a sectional view and a locally-enlarged view schematically showing a nanoparticle-embedded heat-generating clothof the present invention. The nanoparticle-embedded heat-generating cloth of the present invention comprises a fabric 10 and a plurality of heat-generating nanoparticles 20. The fabric 10 includes a plurality of threads 11, and each of the plurality of threads 11 has a plurality of spaces 101. The heat-generating nanoparticles 20 fill with the plurality of spaces 101 and enclosed by the plurality of threads 11.
[0016] In some embodiments, the heat-generating nanoparticles 20 are made of a material selected from a group consisting of tourmaline, zinc oxide, titanium oxide and magnesium oxide. However, the heat-generating nanoparticles 20 of the present invention are not limited to be made of the abovementioned materials. In fact, the heat-generating nanoparticles 20 can be made of any material which can emit infrared ray.
[0017] The heat-generating nanoparticles 20 can be fabricated via letting a plurality of particles of the material collide mutually. Then, the plurality of threads 11 are fabricated via heating and melting a yarn material at a temperature of 200-240° C., and fully fusing the melted yarn material with the heat-generating nanoparticles to form the plurality of threads 11 through a spinning process. As the heat-generating nanoparticles 20 have been added into the melted yarn material duringthe spinning process, the heat-generating nanoparticles 20 can naturally fill with the spaces 101 of each of the plurality of threads 11 and enclosed by the plurality of threads 11.
[0018] The fabric generated by the present invention can be fabricated into various heat-generating clothing for users to wear. As the heat-generating nanoparticles fill with the spaces and enclosed by the threads, the heat-generating nanoparticles are tightly bonded to the thread. Thus, while the clothing is being washed, the drop amount of the heat-generating nanoparticles can be decreased to the minimum, or even no heat-generating nanoparticle 20 drop is generated. In other words, the heat generating clothing of the present invention have prolonged lifetime.
