Abstract:
This innovation about plastic drinking straw with a fixed clip designed
to use with Carbonated Soft Drinks, so that the user can install and fix
the straw inside the drinking glass or vessel by inserting the clip over
the edge of the drinking vessel, this clip will make the straw firmly
stable inside the drinking glass and prevent it from floating on the
surface of the soft drink and falling outside the glass.Claims:
1. The claim in this innovation is the drinking straw with a fixed clip,
this clip built in the straw body, by this clip the straw will be
securely attached to the vessel and will prevent it from Floating on
drink surface and remain stable in the vessel.Description:
BACKGROUND
[0001] One of The bad features of normal drinking straw which is made of plastic and used widely with Food services, that when you try to use it with Carbonated Soft Drinks, it lose its stability and float on the surface of the soft drink and may fall outside the drinking vessel, this will bother the users and may Make their clothes dirty, so for that reason I present this drinking straw with a fixed clip to solve this problem, this clip will make the straw securely attached and stable inside the drinking vessel and will prevent it from floating or moving.
SUMMARY
[0002] This innovation about drinking straw made of plastic but with a fixed clip, this clip built in the straw body, the clip positioned at the top of the straw Directly under the base of angle-adjustable bellows segment, easy to use by inserting the clip over the edge of the drinking glass or vessel and this will keep it Tightly attached to the body of the glass or vessel and will make it firmly stable Inside, this will prevent it from floating on the surface of the carbonated soft drink, as you know when using the normal plastic straw with full glass of Carbonated Soft Drinks start floating on the top surface and fall outside.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0003] 1. FIG. 1: (A) Bellows segment
[0004] (B): Image shows the length of the clip compared with the High of the straw.
[0005] 2. FIG. 2: Close image shows the position of the clip from the body of the straw.
[0006] 3. FIG. 3: (A): Appropriate space at the upper base of the clip to make it fit to the Edge of the vessel.
[0007] (B): The space between the lower end of the clip and the body of the straw is very narrow to make the straw securely attached to the vessel.
[0008] (C): The lower end part of the clip slightly bent away of the of straw body to make it easily to be inserted over the Edge of the vessel.
[0009] 4. FIG. 4: Side view for the drinking straw when installed into drinking vessel.
[0010] 5. FIG. 5: Front view for the drinking straw when installed into drinking vessel.
[0011] 6. FIGS. 6, 7 and 8: 3D images for the drinking straw.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0012] FIG. 1 shows the normal design of the straw which made of plastic and usually use it with drinks but because of the lightweight of the plastic, the straw will Float on drink surface and Fall outside of the vessel, but in this innovation we will add a clip to the body of the straw at the upper part under the base of adjustable bellows segment, close to the user's mouth section as shown in FIG. (2), by this clip the straw will be securely attached to the vessel and will prevent it from Floating. the length of this clip will be One-third of the straw length as shown in FIG. 1, and this will make it fit with various height of drinking vessel, there is a little space or gap at the upper base of the clip as shown in FIG. 3(A) this space will make the clip fit to the Edge of the vessel, also the space between the lower end of the clip and the body of the straw is very narrow to make the straw securely attached to the vessel as shown in FIG. 3(B), we can see also in FIG. 3(C) the end part of the straw slightly stooped out of the body of straw to make it easily inserted thru the Edge of the vessel.
[0013] FIGS. 4 and 5: Side and front view for the drinking straw when installed into drinking vessel.
[0014] FIGS. 6, 7 and 8: 3D images for the drinking straw.
