Abstract:
A supporting apparatus is used for supporting a device on a platform. The
supporting apparatus includes a base fixed to the platform, a shockproof
member, and a sliding member. The base defines a receiving recess for
receiving the shockproof member. The shockproof member is attached to an
inner sidewall bounding the receiving recess. The sliding member is
supported on a bottom of the receiving recess. The sliding member
includes a locking block, to be engaged in the device.Claims:
1. A supporting apparatus used for supporting a device on a platform, the
supporting apparatus comprising: a base to be fixed to the platform, the
base defining a receiving recess having a plane bottom; a shockproof
member received in the receiving recess; and a sliding member supported
on the bottom of the receiving recess and surrounded by the shockproof,
the sliding member comprising a discoid sliding portion slidably
supported in the receiving recess and a locking block extending from a
top of the sliding portion to be detachably engaged in the device.
2. The supporting apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the receiving recess is circular, the shockproof member is annular, an outer surface of the shockproof member contacts an inner sidewall of the receiving recess.
3. The supporting apparatus as claimed in claim 2, wherein the shockproof member is made of flexible material.
4. The supporting apparatus as claimed in claim 3, wherein the shockproof member is made of rubber or plastic.
5. (canceled)
6. A container data center, comprising: a container defining four locking slots in four corners of a bottom of the container; and four supporting apparatuses supporting four corners of the bottom of the container, each supporting apparatus comprising a base defining a receiving recess having a plane bottom, a shockproof member received in the receiving recess, and a sliding member supported on the bottom of the receiving recess and surrounded by the shockproof; wherein each sliding member comprises a discoid sliding portion slidably supported in the receiving recess and a locking block extending from a top of the sliding portion and detachably engaged in the corresponding locking slot of the container.
7. The container data center as claimed in claim 6, wherein the receiving recesses are circular, the shockproof members are annular, outer surfaces of the shockproof members contact inner sidewalls of the receiving recesses respectively.
8. The container data center as claimed in claim 7, wherein the shockproof member are made of flexible material.
9. The container data center as claimed in claim 8, wherein the shockproof member are made of rubber or plastic.

Description:
BACKGROUND
[0001] 1. Technical Field
[0002] The present disclosure relates to a container data center with a supporting apparatus.
[0003] 2. Description of Related Art
[0004] When a container data center is subjected to shock and/or vibration situations, such as during transport or by being in an area where an earthquake occurs, electronic devices in the container may be damaged.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0005] Many aspects of the present embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the present embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, all the views are schematic, and like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
[0006] FIG. 1 is a partially exploded, isometric view of a container data center with four supporting apparatuses in accordance with an exemplary embodiment.
[0007] FIG. 2 is an exploded, enlarged view of one of the supporting apparatus of FIG. 1.
[0008] FIG. 3 is an assembled view of FIG. 2.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0009] Referring to FIG. 1, an embodiment of a container data center includes a container 10 and four supporting apparatuses 20 supporting four corners of a bottom of the container 10.
[0010] Four rectangular locking slots 12 are defined in four corners of the bottom of the container 10 respectively.
[0011] Referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, each supporting apparatus 20 includes a rectangular base 21, a shockproof member 23, and a sliding member 25. Four mounting holes 211 are defined in four corners of the base 21 respectively, for four screws extending through to fix the base 21 on a supporting platform, or a floor of a truck. A circular receiving recess 213 is defined in a center of the base 21. The receiving recess 213 has a plane bottom 2131 and an inner sidewall 2132. The shockproof member 23 is annular and made of flexible material, such as rubber or plastic. The shockproof member 23 includes an inner surface 231 and an outer surface 232. The sliding member 25 includes a discoid sliding portion 251 and a rectangular locking block 252 extending from a top of the sliding portion 251. Size and shape of the locking block 252 are configured for engaging in the locking slot 12.
[0012] In assembly, the shockproof member 23 is arranged in the receiving recess 213, with the outer surface 232 contacting the inner sidewall 2132. The sliding member 25 is supported on the bottom 2131 and surrounded by the shockproof member 23. The locking blocks 252 of the supporting apparatuses 20 are inserted in the corresponding locking slots 12, thus the container 10 is supported on the four supporting apparatuses 20. Any jolts or vibrations to the surface supporting the container 10, the sliding portions 251 will slide on the bottoms 2131 respectively and impact the inner surfaces 231 of the shockproof members 23, which can absorb shock to the container 10.
[0013] Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the embodiments have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in the matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the present disclosure to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
