Abstract:
This invention is a beverage bottle with a play value feature as a
secondary use. The specific shape and design of the bottle allows the
consumer to use the bottle as a piece, that combined with other bottles
of the same kind, becomes part of a construction toy after the liquid is
consumed.
The invention consists of a beverage bottle. The bottles shape allows the
cap and the bottom of the bottle to interlock with holes located the
surface of the bottle. Therefore, the bottle has a secondary function as
a construction toy.Claims:
1. I claim that I, Ernesto Cajias have invented a "beverage bottle and
construction toy integration" is a bottle with a dual function: The
specific design of the bottle has features that allow the consumer to
drink the content and use the bottle as a part for a construction toy
without the need of any additional parts. The combination of several
bottles of the same kind allows the user to create unlimited combinations
of construction patterns.Description:
[0001] This invention consists of a plastic container bottle made from
processes like injection molding. The primary use of this bottle is to
contain liquids like water, flavored water or juices. The secondary use
of this bottle is to be used as a construction toy after the content is
consumed. The primary users of the bottle are children. The bottle is
designed with a subtraction or hole in the center, which allows a
Ergonomic function, and a play value. The ergonomic function is in
reference of the easy grip that the center hole provides for a hand. The
play value consists on connecting the cap and/or the bottom of one bottle
with the holes in the center of another bottle of the same kind.
Therefore the function of the invention consists on two stages. First it
works as a container for a consumption liquid. Second, it works as a
construction toy.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION: CLASS 446 SUBCLASS 69
[0005] This subclass is indented under the class definition (446) γ Subclass 69. Device including a plurality of parts, separable for playing, and which are dimensioned and configured to closely fit one within another, wherein the inner surface of one part is similar in shape to the outer surface of another part.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0006] The "Beverage Bottle and construction toy integration" is an invention that allows the user to consume a beverage from a plastic container that later can be used as a construction toy due to its shape and features. The invention combines ergonomic solutions to a bottle. The design allows the feature of the bottle to fit into each other letting the consumer create unlimited construction patterns.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING
[0007] FIG. 1:
[0008] This is a technical drawing that contains View 1: with is the top view; View 2: is the side view; View 3: is the frontal view; and View 4: is the bottom view of the invention. This drawing includes a graphic description of the features.
[0009] Drawing describes in View 3 the location of the parts. The parts shown are: Part A witch is the cap of the bottle, Part B for the insert 1, Part C for the insert 2 and Part 4 for the bottom of the bottle. Furthermore, the "cap" is the liquid dispenser and the "bottom" is the base of the bottle that allows it to stand. "Insert 1" and "insert 2" are holes on the side of the bottle described as insert 1 and insert 2. "Insert 1" and "insert 2" are used as a handle for the bottle and as hole to insert the "cap" and the "bottom".
[0010] FIG. 2:
[0011] This drawing explains the secondary use of the invention: Its shows how Part A can be inserted in Part C creating the Link 1. It is also shown how Part D can be inserted in Part B creating the Link 2.
[0012] FIG. 3:
[0013] In this drawing the play value is shown with a sequence that demonstrates the construction feature. It describes thought arrows the connection feature between one bottle and another. Link 1 and Link 2 make the connection as described.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0014] This invention is a beverage bottle with a play value feature as a secondary use. The specific shape and design of the bottle allows the consumer to use the bottle as an element of construction. A series of bottles of the same kind allow unlimited combinations.
[0015] The bottle design has a plastic circular cap and an integrated bottom also round (Male) that fit into circular shapes in the flat walls of the bottle (Female). The combinations between the mal and female parts will allows the user to create unlimited construction patterns.
[0016] This invention provides a new use for a beverage bottle after being consumed. It creates an experience for the consumer by providing a secondary use. After the content of the bottle is consumed the same bottle can be used as a piece for a construction toy without the need of any additional parts,
[0017] The manufacturing involves processes like injection mold for the plastic bottle. This same process in applied for the cap.
