BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
[0017] Now, a pouch for a backpack according to the preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described hereinafter in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0018] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a pouch for a backpack according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a pouch for a backpack according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a schematic view illustrating a state in which the pouch for a backpack according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is used.
[0019] A pouch 1 for a backpack according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is configured to be connected to the backpack 30 so as to be used as a supplement for the backpack. The pouch 1 includes a pouch main body 10 having a storage space 11 formed in a tapered shape whose volume is gradually increased toward the bottom from the top, and having a zipper 13 provided along the front edge of the main body from the top of the main body so as to open and close the storage space 11; and fastening means 20 provided at the rear top and rear bottom of the pouch main body, respectively, so as to fasten the pouch main body to the backpack.
[0020] Herein, the pouch main body 10 has the storage space formed in a tapered shape whose volume is gradually increased toward the bottom from the top, and the zipper 13 provided along the front edge of the main body from the top of the main body so as to open and close the storage space 11. Thus, the pouch main body 10 serves to define the entire appearance of the pouch 1 for a backpack, and serves to allow the constituent elements, which will be described later, to be mounted thereon.
[0021] The storage space 11 is formed such that a lower space of the pouch main body is larger than an upper space of the pouch main body. In this case, the bottom surface of the lower space is formed in a larger elliptical shape and the top surface of the upper space is formed in a straight shape. Thus, since an item stored in the storage space 11 leans to the bottom by the gravity, it can be securely stored in the storage space 11.
[0022] In addition, although not shown inside the above-mentioned storage space 11, an auxiliary storage box may be provided in various forms on the inner wall of the storage space 11 so as to effective store other personal possessions such as wallets, cellular phones, and the like.
[0023] Further, the zipper 13 for opening and closing the storage space 11 is formed in a "" shape to allow the top surface and the front side of the pouch main body 10 to be opened and closed. Preferably, the zipper 13 having a waterproof function is used so as to prevent rainwater from flowing into the storage space 11. Also, a cover 17 for the zipper is provided at the top of the pouch main body 10 to cover the zipper 13 upon the closing of the zipper 13 to prevent the rainwater from being introduced into the zipper 13 side.
[0024] A ring 15 for hooking eyeglasses is provided at one side of the outer surface of the pound main body 10. The ring 15 for hooking eyeglasses is intended to allow a user to put off eyewear such as eyeglasses or sunglasses and hook the temples of the eyewear therein for its storage. In this case, the ring 5 for hooking eyeglasses is preferably formed of a rubber material to prevent a scratch from occurring on the temples of the eyeglasses or sunglasses during the hooking thereof.
[0025] Meanwhile, a fastening means 20 is provided at the rear top and rear bottom of the pouch main body 10 where the ring 5 for hooking eyeglasses is provided. The fastening means 20 serves to fasten the pouch main body 10 to the backpack 30.
[0026] The fastening means 20 includes a D-shaped ring 23 fixedly connected to the the rear top and rear bottom of the pouch main body 10, and a clip member 21 rotatably coupled to the D-shaped ring 23 and detachably coupled to a shoulder strap 31 of the backpack.
[0027] In particular, the fastening means 20 provided at the rear bottom of the pouch main body 10 is constructed as a double structure of the clip member 21 and the D-shaped ring 23. The reason for this is to prevent a phenomenon in which the pouch main body 10 is moved in a horizontal direction in a space of the clip member so as to forcibly be pushed to the armpit side of the user if the fastening means 20 is constructed as only the clip member like a carabiner. In this case, such a phenomenon is prevented in the aid of the D-shaped ring 23, particularly, the coupling portion between the D-shaped ring 23 and the clip member 21.
[0028] In addition, in a state in which an item is stored in the storage space 11, its own load of the item besides the pouch main body 110 occurs. At this time, the fastening means 20 positioned at the rear bottom of the pouch main body serves to support the entire load of the pouch main body, and the fastening means 20 positioned at the rear top of the pouch main body serves to auxiliarly support a part of the entire load of the pouch main body and simultaneously fix the position of the pouch main body 10 to prevent the pouch main body 10 from leaning to the horizontal direction with respect to the shoulder strap 31 of the backpack
[0029] The entire use method of the pouch 1 for a backpack according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described hereinafter.
[0030] A user allows the backpack pouch 1 to be fixedly connected to the shoulder strap 31 of the backpack using the clip member 21 of the fastening means 20. In this case, a side in which the storage space 11 is opened and closed is oriented toward the front of the pouch, so that the user can utilize the storage space 11 freely in a state in which he or she wears the backpack 30 on his or her shoulders.
[0031] In this case, the storage space 11 is formed in a tapered shape whose volume is gradually increased toward the bottom from the top. Correspondingly, the bottom surface of the storage space 11 is formed in a larger elliptical shape and the top surface of the storage space 11 is formed in a straight shape, so that an item stored in the storage space 11 can be received securely without any movement.
[0032] In addition, the fastening means 20 is constructed as a double structure as well as is connected to the shoulder strap 31 of the backpack at the rear top and rear bottom of the pouch main body. Thus, the fastening means 20 effectively supports the load of the pouch 1 for a backpack and simultaneously prevents the pouch main body from being moved horizontally with respect to the shoulder strap 31 of the backpack so that the user can use the pouch 1 for the backpack comfortably.
[0033] The present invention can be modified or changed in various manners by a person of ordinary skill in the art without departing from the subject matter claimed in the appended claims. Therefore, the technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned particular preferred embodiment.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
[0034] The pouch for a backpack according to the present invention is fixedly connected to a side of a shoulder strap of the backpack so as to be positioned at the chest region of a user to provide a separate storage space which enables the secure storage of valuables and other personal possessions, so that the pouch can provide convenience of use to climbers or travelers using the backpack as well as students. Thus, considerable demands are expected.
