Abstract:
The utility model can be used in food industry and it is designated for
storage and/or transportation of containers filled with low-viscosity and
normal-density fluids.
The technical result of the present device is the improvement of the
locking properties of the sealing ring of the stoppered container and the
ability to use specific tamper-proof closures that need protection from
overtwisting on the first unstopping and that contain both elements of
fixation with the sealing ring collar of the stoppered container and a
threaded joint.
The above-mentioned technical result is achieved by introducing
unidirectional hooks on the preform sealing ring or on the ready-made
container sealing ring, namely the flanges must be placed on the side
face of the sealing ring below the thread. Also, the technical result is
partially achieved by the presence of the thread itself.Claims:
1. A bottle sealing ring characterized by the presence of thread and an
encircling projection, in addition to which on the lateral outer surface
of the sealing ring there are added unidirectional hooks, located between
the encircling projection and the thread of the sealing ring, that
interact with the mating teeth of the closure or its elements as in a
ratchet mechanism.
2. The preform or bottle sealing ring abovementioned in the clause 1, with the difference that the encircling projection is flattened and has holes.

CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0001] This utility patent application claims priority to Russian patent application 2011128797 filed on Jun. 13, 2011, which is incorporated by reference herein.
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0002] The invention relates to sealing devices for containers.
BACKGROUND
[0003] The standard GOST R 10117.2-2002 has been applied as the nearest analogue that regulates the design of containers and container sealing rings.
[0004] The majority of modern closures have some sort of a tamper-evident indicator. This can consist of several elements, sometimes it is a one-piece unit, and however the general tendency clearly observed is to produce a closure that is inexpensive, simple and tamper-proof. For this purpose it is considered reasonable to introduce into the sealing system the elements of a preformed or a ready-made container sealing ring.
SUMMARY
[0005] The utility model can be used in food industry and it is designated for storage and/or transportation of containers filled with low-viscosity and normal-density fluids.
[0006] The technical result of the present device is the improvement of the locking properties of the sealing ring of the stoppered container and the ability to use specific tamper-proof closures that need protection from overtwisting on the first unstopping and that contain both elements of fixation with the sealing ring collar of the stoppered container and a threaded joint.
[0007] The above-mentioned technical result is achieved by introducing unidirectional hooks on the preform sealing ring or on the ready-made container sealing ring, namely the flanges must be placed on the side face of the sealing ring below the thread. Also, the technical result is partially achieved by the presence of the thread itself.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING
[0008] FIG. 1 illustrates the general layout of the device.
DESCRIPTION
[0009] The utility model can be used in food and household cleaning products industry and it is designated for storage and/or transportation of containers filled with low-viscosity and normal-density fluids.
[0010] In the GOST standard, there are outlined technical solutions of which we have chosen a container sealing ring with a threaded joint and a collar, except that the aforesaid sealing ring does not contain any elements that prevent overtwisting a portion of the closure or the closure in the whole.
[0011] In particular, in the light of the mentioned above, we find it expedient to produce a sealing ring with unidirectional hooks as in a ratchet mechanism that would interact with the elements of the closure.
[0012] The technical result of the present device is the improvement of the locking properties of the sealing ring of the stoppered container and the ability to use specific tamper-proof closures that need protection from overtwisting when unstopping for the first time and that contain both elements of fixation with the sealing ring collar of the stoppered container and a threaded joint.
[0013] The above-mentioned technical result is achieved by introducing unidirectional hooks on the preform sealing ring or on the ready-made container sealing ring, namely the flanges must be placed on the side of the sealing ring between the thread and the projection encircling the sealing ring. Also, the technical result is partially achieved by the presence of the thread itself.
[0014] Placing unidirectional hooks on the side face of the sealing ring containing the thread is determined by the necessity to use specific tamper-proof closures that have additional elements of fixation with the container sealing ring for the protection of the closure from overtwisting when unstopping, that are also designed in the form of unidirectional hooks interacting with the hooks of the sealing ring as in a ratchet mechanism.
[0015] The necessity of the thread on the container sealing ring is also determined by the properties of specific types of closures, namely threaded closures that allow interaction with the container.
[0016] Thus, the combination of unidirectional hooks on the sealing ring and the thread on the portion of the sealing ring above the projection encircling the ring (the ring collar) and respectively below the thread allows using tamper-proof closures with threaded joints and with elements of fixation with the collar of the stoppered container and also considerably improves securing the closure on the sealing ring of the container.
[0017] Also, the projection encircling the ring (collar) is flattened and has fabrication holes necessary for casting one-directional flanges. The device is graphically illustrated, FIG. 1 demonstrating the general layout of the device. The positions on the drawings indicate: container sealing ring 1, unidirectional hooks 2, projection encircling the ring (collar) 3, sealing ring thread 4.
[0018] The operation of the device can be characterized as follows: a closure with the threaded joint and fixation elements is placed on the bottle sealing ring interacting with the sealing ring thread while the fixation elements of the closure, when having been pressed on, interact with the unidirectional hooks of the preform or container sealing ring. Thus, there is formed a reliable connection of the tamper-proof closure with the stoppered bottle. When unstopping the bottle, the locking unidirectional hooks of the sealing ring prevent axial rotation of the closure indicator element or of the closure in whole that has complementary and unidirectional hooks that limit rotation of the closure or its elements to one direction on further unstopping, the interacting threads of the bottle sealing ring and of the closure result in axial deflection of the device. The bottle is considered opened.
