Abstract:
With proper care this cover will continue to protect your valuable 3D
target for years. It is UV resistant and water resistant. These are the
main two elements that cause damage to 3D targets.
We have included two three foot nylon cords to be used for securing your
cover to your target. You can use them by tying off to a stake from the
top loops on your cover, or by using the lower loops and tying off
directly to the legs.
The cover will fit most targets up to 45'' long. You may need to remove
the horns when taking on and off the cover. However, most will fit
through the hole with cinch down cord. This hole also allows moisture to
escape from inside the cover.
Please note: The color of your target cover may fade after long periods
in direct sunlight. However, this will not affect the performance of your
target cover. Glenrock Archery Products recommends periodic treatments
with Nickwax "Tent and Gear Solar Proof". This spray-on protector works
on all weatherproof textiles and increases water repellency and UV
protection. If you will not be using your target for extended periods of
time, Glenrock Archery Products recommends that you store your target and
3D Archery Target Cover in a cool, dry place to extend the life of each
product.Claims:
1. The target cover will significantly prolong the life of 3D archery
targets that are stored outside.Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0004] As an avid archery hunter, I was very frustrated having to replace my expensive 3D Targets on a yearly basis. I found that very little exposure to the sun and rain made them rot and hardened them so that it was extremely difficult to remove the arrows. I began using a tarp to cover them and this resolved problem. However, due to the shape of the body and horns on the head, a tarp is very difficult to keep in place. It also damages the horns and the area where they are attached.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The 3D Archery Target Cover is the first of its kind. It is a cover designed exclusively for 3D Archery Targets. It will prolong the life of 3D archery targets by protecting them from the elements. It is especially designed to fit over these targets while still allowing moisture to escape. It is easy to take on and off and stays in place even in high wind and rain.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING
[0006] This view shows the 3D Archery Target Cover from a frontal side view. It shows the tie down loops on the front and back of the cover used for securing the cover with the included rope. It also shows the hole on the top of the cover where the head of the target will be protruding while the cover is in place. The hole has a draw cord which will enable it to be cinched tight around the neck of the target. The hole on the top of the cover will allow moisture to escape and evaporate.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
[0007] The 3D archery Target Cover is an outdoor cover designed to prolong the life of archery 3D targets. It is UV and water resistant. It easily fits over the head and horns of 3D targets. It is secured with two ropes that are included. It can be tied off two different ways with the attached loops. It stands up to heavy wind and rain. It is 45'' longĂ—12'' wide and 25'' tall. This will fit most deer, antelope and bear targets. It is olive drab in color. Two 36'' pieces of rope are included for tying down. Two tie down loops are attached on the front and back of the cover. It is made of 10.6 oz polyester fabric with polyurethane coating.
