Shortcut

Once the overly dark or light image has been corrected and the contrast has been adjusted the auto color box command is used. This is a powerful control that quickly fine tunes the image color. Simply click the auto box and the histogram will have white vertical stripes when done. Click OK and your photo’s contrast, brightness, and color tones are done.

Simply go to: Image > Adjustments > Levels

Look at the position of the histogram and correct as needed. Once desired effects are had click on auto and then click on OK.
