Lymphosarcoma

Another of the cancers that involve the lymphatic system is called lymphosarcoma —a malignant lymphoma that tends to metastasize in lymphatic tissue. The most common first symptom is a swelling of the lymph nodes, and the diagnosis and treatment are similar to those of Hodgkin's disease. Lymphosarcoma can occur at any time and in any part of the body where there is lymphatic tissue, including the gastrointestinal tract, the tonsils, the tongue, or the nasopharynx area.
