There has been periodic requests for the creation of moderated business discussion groups which would exclude advertising and be dedicated to the discussion of business issues relevant to business owners and managers. Feedback from various discussions indicates that management and marketing are the two most vital areas for discussion and exchange of ideas. Thus the proposal for the creation of both these groups. Feedback also suggests that new groups should be established rather than trying to modify current groups - this will allow users of the existing groups to continue, but add more scope to business discussion via USENET. The proposed new moderated groups would fit alongside the existing unmoderated misc.entrepreneurs group. Followups will be directed to news.groups, as per USENET guidelines.
