8.6. How do I set up auto-dial when I run my Winsock program?
To set up auto-dial, install Microsoft Plus! or Internet Explorer. Once installed, your computer will bring up the dial-up requester when any program accesses WSOCK32.DLL. Pretty cool. For some reason this won't work with 16-bit Winsock programs though. There's a new Internet control panel when you install either of those, and you can control auto-dial and auto-disconnect from there.
