On the opposite side of the coin, FAQ maintainers addresses are often the target of SPAM.

I set up a web-based address for responses and questions to my FAQ but only check it every 2-3 weeks or so since the FAQ, if read, answers most questions. I find that when I access that account, it can have 90 or more messages that are nothing more than SPAM.

Thankfully, it seems that the spammers have not harvested my real address from the displayed FAQ headers, though likely a few have.
