Actually, the load, at least, has been improving fitfully for some
time. We've been working to move most of rtfm's services (the nightly
archivals, the faq-checker, the faq-server, etc.) to a new, faster
machine. I don't know if the FTP mail-server (as opposed to the
faq-server) has moved, since we don't maintain that.

In any case, the faq-server's help file is only available with a
"help" request. I could put a copy in the FTP archive, but since it
isn't posted to news.answers (or any newsgroups) it wouldn't show up
at www.faqs.org anyway. Is it worth making a copy available by FTP
too (and having to make sure it stays up to date)?
