FYI, "MAC" is an abbreviation for an Ethernet hardware address. "Mac" is an

As far as newsreaders go that don't insult your intelligence when you try
to add custom headers, I haven't heard of any. I use TIN to post FAQs
myself, since most Mac/PC newsreaders I've seen simply don't have the
degree of customization of header lines that Unix newsreaders do.

You just _might_ be able to get away with putting the news headers into
InterNet Config's news configuration section, but your mileage may vary.
Some newsreaders and E-Mail clients ignore custom-set mail & news
headers...

(Now, if only I could figure out how to change the E-Mail address in a Unix
newsreader...)
