Keep in mind that many newsreaders (of all stripes - from rn to
the latest multimegabyte Windows NNTP clients and everything
in between) either hide most header lines by default, or give the
user the option of doing so. Anything you put in the headers,
other than the Subject: line, is likely to be hidden from a good
chunk of your audience.
Even for those who do see headers, there's no guarantee that they
want to fish through lines of <adsfg;kdhj457%^*^&*ad;gh@your.machine.com>
and NNTP-Posting-Host and stuff like that to find the ones that are
targeted at humans.
