The *right* thing for www.bike-link.com to have done, of course,
would have been to *link* to Vince's FAQ list, and preferably to
an up-to-date copy of it. In fact, it might even be worth
suggesting that they do this (or not; I agree that they don't
deserve any particular charity). If they do figure it out, be
sure *not* to complain about the link (other than perhaps to
suggest a more up-to-date target). There is, of course, nothing
wrong with making links; it's what the web is all about.
(Complaining about links only makes you look like an idiot.
Anybody know what's happening in Ticketmaster's inane spat with
Microsoft?)
