People vary in their styles of learning. No one presentation
style will suit everyone's learning style. If a different FAQ
covering approximately the same material presents that material
in a different style, that's a sufficient reason for another
document. I imagine that most people who write up the same
material in a different style don't realize what they are doing.
Still, fact that they come of with a document that pleases them
means that they are likely to fill a stylistic gap for others as
well.

You can't please everyone at once.
