To all who have replied to my support for 60-65 columns for
screen text . . . .

Yes, indeed, text in proportional typefaces with graphics is
limited only by the talent and imagination of the designer.
Go for it, and I'll be the first to applaud.

My comments referred only to ASCII, most likely displayed in
a monospaced screen font.

No, no, only the unpublished hard-copy scripts. What used to
be typewritten. I see ASCII on screen as analogous to
that kind of copy.

To the extent that you're presenting a finished product, not
merely text, it's yours to design as creatively as your
talent leads you.
