Files in the rtfm.mit.edu archive versus files posted??

I just looked around in the rtfm.mit.edu FTP archive, and was suprised to
find 5 files in the alt.support.depression (ASD) directory that I can
remember at one time *used* to be posted to ASD. However, I have not seen
these 5 documents actually posted to ASD in a long time (like many many
months in some cases, even tho they say in the headers that they will be
posted every other week or whatever).

Do files just stay in the rtfm.mit.edu FTP archive forever?? Is there any
way to determine if the people who created these files still want them in
the ASD directory of the rtfm.mit.edu FTP archive even tho they are no
longer being posted to ASD??

Sincerely
Stewart
