Speaking of which, if you make this sort of modification to your email
as well, *please* add a valid Reply-To: by hand when writing us. It
may seem like a trivial thing to remove an asterisk, but the time adds
up, even more so when we don't notice until our mail has bounced once.
(This plea is not addressed specifically to John, who didn't say he
modifies his address on email, but to anyone who does.)
I fully understand the reasons for changing addresses on outgoing
news articles, and even on outgoing email, but when you're writing
someone from whom you'd like an answer or acknowledgment, it seems
courteous to make it easy for them to reply.
