No. If you are using the faq server at rtfm.mit.edu, then the password
was in your submission, not in the reply. You sent the FAQ with a
Subject: line of
Subject: ADD password
where password is what you chose. (You don't put the archive name or
newsgroup name there, because they are already present in the text.)
Note that this only applies to using the faq server to *post* your faq.
It is entirely unrelated to archiving faqs at rtfm, which happens
whether you use their posting server or not. It's also unrelated to
approval of your faq by the moderators. These issues have been confused
in this thread on the mailing list. They are three independent issues.
Some of the comments may have applied to using the automatic checker;
this is related to both moderator approval and to the faq server but is
not familiar to a lot of us old hands here. (Wow, three years makes me
an old hand ...)
